Without the sexual scenes, graphic and brutal violence, language, and of course, Dr. Manhattan's glowing johnson, this movie is going to sum up to about 45 minutes. Lousy feds and their censorship. They didnt cut out the gore when I watched it on TNT. I dont know about AMC but I know that they didnt censor it because on TNT they showed everything in the beginning. Even the guy laying there with his guts hanging out.

I haven't seen it on TNT, but on the other stations, like FX or Spike TV surprisingly, they showed some censorship, like where that troop attaches a sticky bomb to the German tank and ends up being blown to gooey bits. Thankfully, the History Channel aired it recently in its uncut glory. They usually don't cut anything for hsitorical and realistic purposes.

You should have replied to lovece7. Watchmen was written before TDK. While I agree TDK was a better film, the Dark Knight borrowed a lot of the themes and ideas from Watchmen. You should read it
