I can buy replacement parts for a fraction of the cost and all of the quality as parts that work on the Mac; parts which work out of the box. I own both Macs and PCs. PCs are less of a headache for people who actually know what they're doing. Macs are just claustrophobic to people like me, to whom computers are more than just a household appliance.

Much better for Multimedia applications and DVR devices with many more which Mac can't do. Not to mention HD. I run my entire entertainment station in my living room through my PC and it's a beautiful thing with no problems, on a 50" LCD HDTV. All connected through Media Center with the remote control. :P

Not to mention Macs suck for gaming which is something else I do on my PC.

Both are good, but again if you're not looking to spend so much money on a computer then go witha PC. Not everyone can afford a $1500 to nearly $3000 computer.

You can get a PC that costs about $600 to $900bucks and later on you can upgrade it, and add more software and hardware to it to make it work better.

Both have their pros and cons.

I prefer the PC only because I know how to service and customize them. However, I think the Mac these days are just as good if not better, depending on your primary use of your computer. I like the framerate your camera gets. Your Mac did well in capturing your video and audio.

pc's are more my thing because almost every program in the world is made for it, not that many are mac compatible.

You get a better pc than a mac for the same price. You pay tons of money on design and brand.

So for me that's an all round user (gaming, programming, webdesign, audio/video...) and not a filthy rich person....the PC is the best alternative.
