I do. the scripture you are referring to is in the old testiment law. We are no longer slaves to that law because Jesus was the fulfillment of it. Jesus said no liars, sexually immoral, murderous people will enter heaven. the point I was trying to make is, a true christian does not hate the person, but the sin. I have homosexual family and friends. And I love them dearly. I explain it to them like this, I am not supposed to live in sin and neither are they, regardless of the sin.

A couple of things:
-A 10 year old would not be able to marry because he/she has not reached the age of consent. The parents would need to approve of that, which is doubtful. Equating homosexuality with pedophilia is absolutely illogical.
-Incest has been made illegal on the basis of research showing that severe problems can occur-genetic defects, mental deficiencies, and growth abnormalities to name a few.

What these fanatics never mention, while they're prattling on about "delivering" homosexuals, and how gay marriage "violates their religious freedom", never once do they mention all of the people of faith whose rights will be infringed upon by this amendment.
There are many religions, mine included, that recognize gay marriages. Many denominations of Christianity recognize gay marriages as well. Prop 8 infringes on their rights.
No on Prop Hate. It's just wrong.

These are 'man-made' laws & doesn't scripture teach that 'we ought to obey God (His Laws) rather than man'??
Marriage, according to God's Law, was instituted between man and woman..
I would think we need not to compromise..

I've been led to believe Jesus taught to love and accept everyone. Accept. Restricting laws aren't accepting.
Religious teachings uneccesary to pass 8. It doesn't affect schools, and churches can deny marriage service anyway- marriage is not necessarily held to be sacred, they can be secular.
Gay marriage has no detrimental effect to others; there's no need to restrict actions that don't negatively afffect others.
