Modern "Country" is just overproduced pop with a gimmicky, phony twang.

People say they "hate country" because all they know is the commercial crap.

This is good. This is real. Therefore, it is not modern so-called "Country".

The Grammys brought me here. I have never been a fan of country or folk. Not a Yankee like me. Ha. But I have always found bluegrass appealing on some gut level. What they did at the Grammys was too short lived because it was fantastic. Thumbs up

Theirs was one of the few albums I was anxiously anticipating in recent years.

The whole disc does not disappoint, well worth a listen.

Still have not caught them live yet but hope to soon.

My early impression would rank them right up there with Gillian and Dave.
