Thanks for this video, I'm so glad you found Caroline to help you with your horses, it's the perfect pairing and shows how well her rituals work and what a gifted student and horsewoman you are. Looking forward to seeing you ride at liberty. Best of everything to you.
@saidama1 - thank you for your comment, yes we will ride at liberty, it is another wonderful journey - good luck to you as well and sun from the caribbean, stina and the herd
Stina, what do you use for a neck rope? Is it something you buy or something you make? All I can find to buy have metal clamps on the ends, which is obviously not what you use. Thank you!
Hi , i go to wallmart and buy good ropes for pulling cars, they are soft and strong and you can cut them in the size you wish, use alighter for getting the ends tight. good luck!
i'm not really that connect with too many people over here, i've spend 4 years here homeschooling my children and playing with horses so wouldn't even know who would be interested, i've left many feelers out on DR1 but never any interest. come visit me!!!
how did you get your horses to trust you so much? theres this one horse at the barn I ride at, Chance, and I really love him. He seems fond of me, too, but I want to know how to get closer to him.
hi badda, Thanks for your question, we spent alot of time together, do you know Carolyn Resnick? I use the waterhole rituals, especially the one called sharing territory. Kind regards Stina
this 7 minutes 29. is one of the most inspiring and valuable pieces of horsemanship I have ever seen.
Dedication love and commitments, and thats just the horses... your a credit to humanity and a breath of fresh air in humans vs animals. if only we could act this way with eachother maybe the world would be on a whole, healthier.
Wow Lovely video... Beautiful music to. What breed of horses are they? I love playing with my horses at liberty.. and riding bridle-less to. Cool name for a donkey.. "Laksa". Lol. I love it!
It truly is an amazing feeling to establish a bond like you have with these horses. And it is such a pleasure to get to "see" that bond between them and you. Just lovely. Much respect~ firefly4tori
o i do this to!you learn a lot more of ur horses real background and now i hate reins its like i dont get them lol and about 1 year ago i depended on them. have you ever tried trails doing that on the road? yeah watch the ppl faces their halarious. *Brings back memmories* o man i love my big boy.Inspiring vid.(=*many memmories comin back*
ah i will tell you know its the most joy and freedom you will ever feel. And sometimes as i patrol the forest you fell like a guardian of forest or for me i feel a lot like an native american watching the land. And no matter what the problem mt heart is always led to solve it in a calm way and so far it has always worked.these are few words i can describe of it.(=

Stina, one more question for you. Do you use a knot that slides so the loop for the neck is adjustable, or do you use a regular knot? Thank you :)
DreamAngel4990 1 year ago
the knot is not adjustable, but fixed
