nothing is original anymore, everything is in some way linked to something that came before it even if just vaguely. Sure, they might be capitalizing on someone else's work but its not exactly the same. Bands have done worse. My favourite band Evanescence was mimicked almost exactly in their video clip Everybody's Fool by an asian band that never made it big, thank god.
