  • You idiot.

Use a Class 10 SDHC, if not I will have to do this because this video is USELESS.

You are comparing UDMA to a Class 6? UNFAIR.

I will buy a CF adapter and use a Class 10 SDHC card with a Canon 7D.

You'll hear from me very soon.

  • SD

SanDisk Extreme SDHC Class6 20MB/s (My Card)

    SanDisk Extreme SDHC Class10 30MB/s

    CF

SanDisk Extreme IV CF UDMA 45MB/s (My Card)

    SanDisk Extreme CF UDMA 60MB/s

SanDisk Extreme Pro CF UDMA 90MB/s

    and..

Adapter is Very slow transfer rate.

  • What adapter do you use?

I am getting the fastest available and it writes at 5.5 MBps, most others that I have seen have older chips in them and only go around 2-3 MBps

  • @beatsiz so you got it to work for video too ? what type of adapter did you use , sd-cf 1 or sd to cf 2 ?

from what i understand canon 5d and 7d only take cf1 , which is hard to find

  • @panadevulpe No, my 7D takes an SD to CF-II Adapter.

I use an SDHC 10 card and I can usually record video just fine at 24fps depending on what I shoot.

You can easily get a small shot but longer shots could overflow the buffer.

  • SD CARD is not available or HD video.

    (Photo use only)

  • SD card write speed is very slow. _| ̄|○

  • Is the SD card too slow for HD video?

  • so, what do these results mean, can you please interpret them?
