I met Keith Nelson (from Monterey, California) through a mutual friend, Banjo and Guitatrist
Todd Cleave (RIP July 9th 08). I stayed with Keith in London, in 1969, and he told me about UP and NSP Pipes, and looked what happened ! I had no idea he played with Clarence (RIP), Keith was the only Scruggs' style player in the U.K. for a number of years,
and was on numerous albums. He was playing with "The Southern Ramblers" a British Blue Grass band in 1969. I think he's in Switzerland now.
