  • m18, I meant

  • The M50 recoilless cannon was first introduced in the concluding days of the war and mostly used in the Korean conflict - Not in Neptune, that's for sure.

Tough lacking in historical accuracy, this MOHA still offers some good fun and Neptune level is not an exception. But I can't understand why such a franchise, always been tough arcadey quite atmospheric, had been changed into something so far from its standard and so near to some kind of Wolfenstein with ubernazis and so on -_-

  • what console

  • I think the same about brothers in arms but think to medal of honor have more action in the game like a movie and the music and other sounds make to medal of honor a great game

  • Dude, try it on expert, its SO HARD. I died like over 100 times on Operation Avalance.

  • for me this game is impossible on hard but i keep on playing it for some reason

  • I bought this for PC for $10...now I just have to spend $ 700 to get a new PC to actually play it. ;)

I just love WW2 fps games and this one looks amazing, despite the shortcomings I read about.

It would be awesome to have an FPS focus on the German conquests of 39-40...I would love to invade my own homeland, the Netherlands! Probably still too controversial though.

  • this game is awesome and all, buuut.... there are always some minor weapon effects in these games. Like the grenade for an example, it doesnt set as soon as you pull the pin... theres the jacket to be tooken off too.

  • omg why do u suck so much you never even killed 10 people with your gun

  • In reality it's almost impossible to kill 10 people with a gun, not with out your squad.

  • really quite a good point and true

  • dis video on xbox 360????

  • no. Its PC

  • wut i h8 is that his arm looks too tiny lol

  • it's just a sucky game overall.

  • Maybe he's just small?

  • They ACTUALLY think Utah beach looked like that!?!?!?!?, You've gotta be fucking kidding me!!!

  • Has anyone noticed that the sergeant called out to the pilot "Jimmy"? Any retro MoH players would know the main protagonist for the original MoH was Jimmy Patterson, an airbone pilot. However this could be nothing more than a simple easter egg... Considering that Jimmy Patterson was in the 101st Airbone Division, and these guys are the 82nd.

  • but the plane crashed a few moments after you jumped, it node dived right into the ground, killing everyone, besides,

  • Patterson crashlanded in the night near Vierville, and ended up on Omaha Beach, roughly the same time the 4th I.D hit Utah, so, its impossible it's him, Good find though.

  • Thinking, the 82nd airborne division never realy droped into Utah. That was the 101st's Job.

  • Yeah i noticed that it is unrealistic, i mean the M1 Garand is pathetically fake, you can't even reload it. but it can be sort of a challenge for rookies and novices to FPS games. But i prefer Brothers in Arms and realistic and authentic story based games. I think that gamers are going to more realistic games and are less interested in these quantity over quality games that are a dime a dozen and little or no research is done, those days are over, but EA dont seem to get it.

  • The U.S government would NEVER issue a weapon that couldn't be re-loaded in mid-clip. It would be INSTANTLY REJECTED.

Their is a clip ejection button on the left side of the receiver, specifically designed to reload whenever you want.

I do it all the time with my M1, it's simple as hell. So please next time, know something about the weapon, and don't take advise from a VIDEO GAME.

  • I didn't get that from a video game. You can manually eject the clip but it was very rarely done in combat, they would fire all the rounds and recharge quickly.

  • Yeah, but it was easy to do so, and it should be an option in between encounters, like real combat, after all, this game is supposedly about player freedom, thats all the more reason.

  • Having to fire off rounds in the ground, is suicide, seeing as your a trooper behind enemy lines, and your gonna need those rounds later, so in real combat, that would be waisting ammo, giving your position away, and increasing your chances of a jam, that's why in real life, soldiers reloaded their rifle after an enemy encounter, and put those left over rounds in their pockets to be used later.

  • Brothers in arms, i think is one of those successful realism wwII based shooters, its good tactics, real life squad manuevers and realism in the weapons use, not just spray and pray. Also it's not like other stupid fps games where you can somehow be safe from fire hiding behind a wooden garden fence, NO,in B.I.A you get bullets tearing that thing up and you if your not outta there. The least we can do for the guys of D-day and beyond,is make more convincing realistic wwII shooters..

  • Yeah, I agree 100%, I dont think WWII games purely OUR pleasure and entertainment is respectful, instead, WWII games should be more historically accurate and realistic, and uncensored and because the reason WWII games were created was to honor the veterans of WWII, and BIA has always done a spectacular job of that, I think series like MOH and COD have lost sight of that objective, and only make WWII games just like any other FPS, nothing special went into it. BIA does WWII justice at least.

  • And historically speaking, this game's D-Day landing is completely fictional, no paratroops dropped DIRECTLY behind the beach just before the landings, the area was restricted to all allied aircraft except fighters, and bombers. The beach itself didnt look anything like in the game either. BIA:Road to Hill 30 is the most accurate Utah beach depiction.

  • also, the main character is in the 82nd airborne, who's objectives in D-Day were towns like St Mare Eglise and St Saveur, they had no part in linking up with the infantry on the beaches

I still really like this game, just wish it was a little more accurate

  • i also dont think that it was even necessary to do a level based behind the beaches in this game, if they did the D-Day level involving you dropping out into the field and fighting your way through the villages at night would both be more accurate and more awsome

  • Exactly, the game being so intentionally incorrect is just a massive turn off.

  • I realize that you want to play games for the story and such, but you do realize this is a game and not a recreation of what happened, right?

  • Yeah, I know, but the devs said this was to be the most historically accurate installment in the series.

I just want to see an accurate, immersive, and story told MOH again, like Frontline, or Allied Assault, and to see the devs actually do their homework, having a game historically inaccurate and then saying its about fun, is no excuse to not do research, its called being lazy, they have to realize that in making a WWII game means having to do a lot of research, thats just a fact.

  • so true

  • This game doesn't look incredibly realistic, but it looks like a fun game. I played the demo, and was dissapointed at how un-real it seemed, but later I realized that it wasn't meant to be incredibly realistic but meant to be a good fun shooter with different featurs which I respect. Is the whole game kind of repetitive or is it random?

  • The battles can be repetitive, but the differences in environment allow the AI to provide an interesting and randomness to it. Your objectives stay the quite straight forward, but if you play it on the higher difficulties it is certainly more fun and less repetitive.

  • try a greased land ing you hit the grounf ready to fight

  • they paratrooped during the day for the invasion of Holland, operation market garden

  • Wait i thought the 101st and 82nd paratrooped into Normandy at night during d-day?

  • they did, for some reason MOH Airborne did it at day. Dunno why?

  • they might have done it because on the actuall day of the landing is when the most happend

they might have wanted you to take part in what happened on the actuall d-day not the night before

if you ever watch band of brothers the day after the landing

they had to do something similar to this

  • They did fight at day of course, but they did not parachute in at day.

  • yah

but since its airborn they thought what the fck

    lets do it anyways

    just to add some kick

its the only reason i can think of

  • lol

  • The neptune landing was Dawn. That explains why there are soldiers landing on the beaches.

  • Just a quick correction, the soldiers are actually landing to the rear of the beaches, at rear batteries, strongpoints. These of which would be guarded by mg's and trenches, thus looking very much like frontal beach fortification

  • I dont get it, on the BAR when u had the flip clip, it just cept reloading the same 2 clips. Wouldnt you have to get another set of 2 clips when those 2 are empty?

  • het that word say "those things aer precius....." at the begining is from david webster from band of brothers right?

  • Yes, David Webster actually wrote a book called "Parachute Infantry" I assume it's from there.

  • how du u flare a landing?

  • PC - you have to hit the space bar as you fall. I was also pretty pissed that they didnt explain that during the training, it just tells you to flare... like that would do something to anyone who was having a problem.

  • Thx alot! and i agree with u!:P

  • NPC's actually follow you into the tower on the PC? That would be a nice touch on the Xbox.

  • your doing this on the xbox 360

  • PC Only

  • lol i wish my video got sound : (

I made a pure sniper video from moh airborne, check it out - click on my name.

  • Snipers ftl

  • condor you should record it with fraps and edit it with sony vegas, that way you can edit both sound and video

  • hey fragment87 thz, i'll install sony vegas and give it a try xD

speaking of fraps - yea I'm using it on all my videos. check my MOH airborne video with all the smooth sniper kills.

I think theres other problem. Im currently using on-board sound and not a stand along sound card :(

  • I was actually really surprised by how good this game is.

  • 03:36: Burn baby, burn!

  • son of a bitch, the audio is off again! god i hate video editing some times. =(

  • what do you mean the audio is off? I can hear the audio on this video...maybe ur speakers are off lol and hey what video editing program do you use?? check out my video I made of this see if u like.

  • not off - not working, off as in offset. =\

  • omg the part where the nazi's were screaming in the tank was great

  • I have got to save some cash and get a xbox 360 with moh airbourne!!!!

  • that part was sad. they're people too even though they worship a guy with a tooth mustache

  • i find it scary, cus the guy cant do anything and is let in there to burn. The german soldiers weren't all nazis, just to let you know, but they didnt have an option wether they wanted to fight or not ;)

  • yeh thats true, most of the soldiers hated hitler, some of my german relatives where forced to fight in the war even though they didn't want to.

  • i agree... hitler was an asswipe
