and you reinstall it the same as before you are just reinstalling it to the same exact spot on the hard drive and many of the files never got deleted when you uninstalled it so you end up having the same errors in itunes again so you'd have to manually search out any files that itunes used and then reinstall the itunes
a lot of the errors on windows are cause because programs on windows use a lot of files and sometimes when you delete some files for one program they end up being needed for another program and you didn't know it
and uninstalling programs on windows leaves dozens of files still on the hard drive, thats why if you uninstall itunes because its giving you problems
Well, after I switched to Linux, I have so much extra time, because I do not have to handle errors all the time, and the UPDATES are not taking two days and a million restarts, but merely seconds and they install without restarting at all... I like Open Source.
Try Linux ,and I can promises you as soon as your're used to it You can kiss all these errors good bye. Remember all OS have their erros, but in experince windows gave me the most hell to learn and use not linux despite popular myths about it.
Later if you still want to yu can get a mac but I would advise to try linux first.

The funny thing is this, Mac is linux because under the hood of all Mac os X systems you run Freebsd. Its like saying my Linux is better then your Linux . Overall I like mac and I like Linux both easy to use once you get used to it.

Also, viruses don't count as windows errors, and are easily managed even with free anti-virus and regular scans, combined with daily creation of restore points. Some of them were just plain stupid, like the one about a missing URL? Ha, try typing the address right, or making sure it even exists in the first place. Out of all of them, the only one worth worrying about was the blue screen.
