  • toda la conferencia subtitulado al español por favor

    no entiendo el ingles.

Alguien que lo tradusca la conferencia completa . gracias.

  • "Well we all motorcycles in some degree."

  • That first guy is actually the devil bob met out on highway 61. He later tried to kill bob on his triumph motorcycle, but failed cause Dylan is more of a bad ass than the devil.

  • alguien que subtitule esto en español por favor !!

  • 4:20

Interviewer: ''Do you think there will ever be a time when you paint or sculpt?''

    Dylan: ''Oh Yes, Oh sure.''

Here we are in 2012 where Dylan's paintings etc are on display at galleries, he lived up to that!

  • what's the question asked at 4:34? can't figure out why they're all laughing.

  • @butterf1yz "Will there be a time you'll be hung as a thief?"

  • what did he say at 4:35?

  • @MrOdsplut apparently Ginsberg asking "do you think there will ever be a time when you'll be hung as a thief?"... referring to Dylan's thefts from literary and musical sources. I read it somewhere.

  • "How wasted is really wasted and do you foresee it?"

  • this is the coolest video on youtube.

    thanks for posting it

    he's amazing even when he's just talking.....god

  • subterranean homesick blues isnt on highway 61... its off bringing it all back home... if youre going to interview someone you should probably get your facts right.

  • Fun fact - the photographer later ended up at a mental hospital and was the one who called that radio station pretending to be the Zodiac Killer.

  • 5:55 - 6:00 What does he say? I have a hard time hearing it.

  • So much bad hair.

  • @torgman bad hair, why? so what's "good" hair to you?

  • @unfortunatebeam So, I guess everyone had really good hair in that clip? Didn't know I touched a nerve.

  • "There'd be no music without the words" - a few years later, he would record Nashville Skyline with an instrumental track. :)

  • @ralfsu he said he'd right symphony

  • @ralfsu You have taken his words out of context.

    1. He wrote the song around words in the specific instance

    2. The entire interview is sarcastic

  • 6:50 is Paul McCartney's Grandpa in A Hard Day's Night

  • That guy asking about the Triumph shirt was out of it! I guess Dylan handled it well but I would have been like, "It's not the cover that matters, it's the music." Crazy bastard.

  • Ginsberg at 4:40

  • He looks 13 years old in this.

  • @ 7.04 .... i got exactly the same hairstyle as that guy.

  • thank you for posting! this is dope!

  • <3

  • you don't need to put copyright up for this, anything before '69 isn't protected, so you can use it

  • @Jimbotloser1 Ah. :) Thanks for the tip. I need to see if I have some other cool hard-to-find Dylan stuff to upload. I already have two copyright infringement warnings so a third one would get my account disabled.

  • @ralfsu No problems, basically if you get infridgement for this or anything before 69, then they are technically breaking the law (anything before 69 is usuable, you can even record songs before '69 and make money off it, it's in public domain). This is why i still get confused that most Dylan songs get taken down when they actually shouldn't be taken down. They need to fix YouTube on that matter and they need to get their facts straight

  • @Jimbotloser1 What, really? Then why do episodes of the Monkees always get taken off of YouTube? Weird. . .

  • @skillzbeat YouTube is just stupid, they just take anything off even though they aren't actually following the law properly. It's like movies too they came before copyright. YouTube = Dumb dumbs

  • @Jimbotloser1 Not quite true

  • @whiteymcqueen Yes it is true. Do i see you study for copyright work? No

  • @Jimbotloser1 I don't know where you got that from. I uploaded stuff from the '30s on here and got my old account suspended for it because of copyright infringement, so I'd say you're entirely wrong.

  • @AndrewGilmore1986 Maybe research it dumbdumb

  • There is something very (inadvertently) artistic about this. How appropriate.

  • that jazz bloke is a self important wally-whatever his heritage.it comes across in all his jazz programmes.

  • So sweet!

    Like him so much!

  • to say smokey robinson in these racist trying times, i adore him

  • 2:12 creepy

  • Comment removed

  • Thank you so much. I've had different segments of this saved on my YouTube favorites, probably five or six different times since I've had a YouTube account, but they always get taken down. Now, the whole thing is here! Let's hope it stays up!

  • thumbs up

    'i wanna needle them'

  • He's like oh my god.......wtf........

  • he's sooo baked!

  • You can find names for most of the people at the conference here: dvdylan.com/dvd/D011

  • oh my god

  • is that Ginsberg in the audience at 6:52??

  • @ebudris1 Yes it is

  • Thank you SO MUCH!! Ive been looking EVERYWHERE FOR THIS!!!

  • @TWOTHIRTYS3V3N It wasn't very easy getting a hold of this for myself either !

  • @TWOTHIRTYS3V3N

    it's available on netflix

  • sometimes when i llsten to Bob talk or read interviews, i think to myself "do YOU even know what you're talking about?" lol. I mean the way he talks sometimes.......

  • hey whos that host man who is that

  • @IMNOTAPOLICEOFFICER

the man who introduces him is Ralph Gleason. a google or two should yield plenty of information about his relationship with Bob's music and career.

  • I got that early bootleg version of Visions of Johanna up, it's on my channel. No idea how long it'll stay there though.

  • I should add that the 'Freeze Out' song he mentions at one point is actually 'Visions of Johanna'. There's an early recording of it titled '(Seems Like a) Freeze Out', I need to find a way to upload that. It's pretty awesome.

  • he is so cute

  • @1975hippie

you got that right...the constant half smiling....aaah...falling inlove with 60's dylan

  • @1975hippie I understand what you're saying cos I'm 18 and absolutely love Dylan, he's probably my favourite artist now, and I'm the only one in my group of friends that seems to even bother to listen to hhis unbelievable lyrics. But one of the reasons I love Dylan is because he always strived to break away from the norm and say 'fuck you, i'm guna like and play this music and if you don't like it then shoot me' and thats exactly what i say to people who are saying 'you listen to BOB DYLAN?'

  • does anyone think that a girl could follow in Bob dylans footsteps like he did with woodie guthrie?

  • @1975hippie That's possable, but it would be harder for a girl that it would be for a man, however folk nowerdays isn't the same, so it would be an extreme challenge.

  • @ShotgunGeoffrey ok cuz that girl is me, as embarrassing as it is. I dont talk about me liking Bob Dylan because i guess in this generation, it's kind of rare for a 17 year old girl to like him. I find it kind of hard to find people my age or a little bit older who like him because they are more in tune with today's generation of music whereas me, i'm not. most of the time. Which often gives me the feeling of being alone. but thank you i needed to ask that!

  • @1975hippie quit caring about what other people think. kids these days are so sucked into society's demands

  • @frusciante319 A very large part of the problem is that most today have bought into the myth of progress and the chronological snobbery that flows from it.

  • @Jitpring im 17. im ridiculed. i dont care though

  • @frusciante319 The truth is that you most likely do care. A lot. Being ridiculed hurts. At any rate, it's good to see that, in spite of any ridicule, you haven't bought into the myth of progress and become a chronological snob. So many confuse technological development for moral progress. Yet the 20th century has the highest body count of all previous centuries combined. And since 1973 we have the legalized murder of millions upon millions of pre-born infants. Progress? Is somebody kidding?

  • @Jitpring I would recommend googling this:

    amazon question progress

It'll take you to a page of mine. From there you can view more through my profile.

    I bid you cheers!

  • @1975hippie Hey, you're not alone! I'm 19 and I rarely listen to post-90's music. :)

  • 6:50 that IS him. I wonder if they'd met yet in this video.

  • @MichaelBallack91 ahaha yeah they met, they were quite good friends and he's the guy that said "will there ever be a time where you'll be hung as a thief?" :)

  • @EmuMinstrel

haha i thought so because he's like "you're not supposed to say that"

i don't get that question though is there a reference there, or is it just a random question?

  • 4:40 is that Allen Ginsberg? :O

  • Finally someone had the common sense to upload the whole interview.

  • Thank you for uploading, great interview :)
