Bought the CE version but didn't open it til just recently. The registration code was missing, (along with the bonus in game items). I tried doing the right thing by contacting EA but they were not helpful. I guess I was supposed to shell out more $? I don't have the cash for that. Thanks to you, I was able to install the game. :P

Haha I lost the manual for the retail copy, spent like 10 min looking. Came here and copied any code and it worked like a charm. If it wasn't for this I'd be looking for the manual for like 5 hours, I'm one stubborn S.o.B. Oh btw the retail copy I have doesn't go through EA or Steam, it's old school.

@Seoterra Ahh Good that you asked, becuase this version of Mass Effect 2 is the one that is not supported by no company like Steam, Windows Live or EA Downloader Manager, this version you can find in stores (just ask for a regular copy). You can even download it on Pirate Bay , but that is illegal, and i avise you not to (ye right).

Anyone who can help me out? i input the Key, it acceps it,

but when its installed and i click PLAY, it asks me to put in CD

so i mount Mass Effect 2 CD 1 image, but it dosent help,

then i do the same with CD 2 image, and still dosent work.

replacing MassEffect2 with MassEffect2.exe
