These are the original pulstar plugs they where very falty and had some bad design problems. I use the new Iridium plugs in my truck with msd ignition and what a difference but stay away from the originals they are not trust worthy.
thank you for posting this video i was thinking about this plug for my next tune up but you are not the only one to have this trouble it looks like. I think i'll go with iridium plugs.
That is exactly what happend to a splifire plug that was in my brothers mr2 turbo. We had a hell of a job trying to get it out of his engine without damaging the threads but we managed to do it with a tool i think was called a tap extractor.Since then he only uses ngk plugs.
HEY PEOPLE NEW IRIDIUM TIP ELECTRODES HAVE BEEN INTRODUCED JUST A WEEK AGO!!!!! They Last for 100,000 miles!......I"M A FULL BELIEVER OF THIS PRODUCT!!! IT WORKS!!!!!!!! I GOT 40 Extra Miles Off of My Celica GT(copper electrode). That's completely Bone Stock!!! Then Put a Cold air intake on and Instantly with the plug Push my tank an Extra 100-150 mile MORE with a performance Muffler from Flowmaster (no header: but that would help too).
Update,I just got my New G-3 pulstar plugs in the mail,They are built alot better than the broken ones I sent back. so send them back and get you some new one that are designed better.Mine are in and truck is running great. To soon to tell about gas mileage.
I broke 5 and in my whole life I only broke 3 reg plugs,,The small motors are easier to install,But a V8 has side app and harder to push the wire on from tight quarters ,,The plug can take any pressure from side push at all,,,,,,,Be very careful
I have a 2006 Honda Pilot, and I noticed a great improvement! Yes, I broke one during the instalation my self, but I called them and they REPLACED IT FOR FREE! not to mention that I droke it out of mu own fault! Sorry... you are haveing problems! My sugestion, call them, and they will replace them free! (at least this is what they did for me!)
Your right,I broke 5,and that was not by installing the,It was by pushing on new plug wires.I have 30 years of working on cars,The plugs are probly good ,but weak in design.
@KyriacosK My set came to me in perfect condition with instructions that bitched about all of the little stuff you had to do to make sure they didnt break. Of course this was just recently and they have changed a lot about the plugs. So they just came broken?
@KyriacosK They are not spark plugs, they are Pulse plugs. They come with Instructions you are to read before installing. They say do not drop. They say do not use rubber insert in your spark plug socket; it can cause you to do what you did. They recommend gap settings; typical things mechanics need to keep up on. No pun intended. The Pulstars now have a Lifetime Warranty.
@bobbert350 Your stupid and so are the people giving you thumbs up therefor your giving others stupid info. Stick to solid brands people. NGK or whatever comes with your car. Dont fall for these "snake oil" spark plugs, there all shit.
@bobbert350 Im not small minded, im fucking practicle. What experience with engines do you have punk? If 90% of people that have used them say there shit, there shit.

Why are you even discussing about this? Would you fight with these things? They're only gonna sit on top of your cylinders

I knew they would break just by looking at the photo they have of them on there own website. The spark plug insulator looks realy thin!
I can see the cold winter temp then going to hot engine temp then winter cold etc. It will break at $25 a pop!
walmartramen 2 years ago
your engine doesn't go from 20 to 210 instantly. it will be a gradual change in temp and won't heat shock the plug
Moonrover333 2 years ago
how about you most likely broke them due to miss use not a plug problem it was a you problem..

hi , is the f-16 working as they said ?
more power -tork ?
better MPG ?
yanlapanic 2 years ago
You can accomplish the same thing by buying an
F-16 Pulse King on ebay for 69.95 it attaches to the battery and works all your stock sparkplugs.
cbateman9707 3 years ago 2
well i dont think youre supposed to take them out with a hammer...
and try hooking them up to the ignition wires, and to the distributor cap.
that helps.
i threw some in a 2000 Celica and it runs exceptionally well
