Guys...Jecht isn't the villain. For starters he isn't bad. He chose to be Sin because there had to be a sacrifice (for killing Sin). The villain is Seymour (EVEN THOUGH he isn't the final boss) because he was malicious.

Sephiroth used to have a lot of muscles too. Search for the scene in which Cloud gives Sephiroth the Black Materia. Sephiroth is HUGE. Though I guess they made him more skinny lately.

According to wiki The game will unite both protagonists and antagonists from installments of the main Final Fantasy series. Confirmed characters are Warrior of Light and Garland from FF, Firion and Emperor Palamecia from FFII, Squall Leonhart and Ultimecia from FFVIII, Zidane and Tribal Kuja from FFIX, Tidus from FFX, and Sephiroth from FFVII. So Cloud would definitly be the protaganist fighter for FFVII and either YU Yevon or Seymour as FFX antagonist character.
