the media has portrayed pirates in a pretty negative light. thats probably because theyre the ones fighting pirates. basically its propaganda like one country would do to another country at war. instead of showing the truth, they make up lies to get people on their side. from some comments i read on some of these videos, apparently it works on some people.

i have a dozen reasons why theyre fools for fighting this non-existant war against pirates, and may actually end up posting a vid someday.

Amen - I buy CDs all the time, but have STRIVED to avoid buying DVDs with much vigor because they have ANTI-CONSUMER encryption on them. Whenever I do end up owning one, I always crack-n-rip it to HD anyways and watch it in Media Player, so I can have a decent control over HOW I watch my movie, not get my controls frozen out by lame crap.

£16.99 for a DVD which costs about 5p per copy to produce. 8 Weeks later you can buy it for £5 in the bargain bucket and they still make a damn profit.

However he does have a point. If you pirate Britneys Music (you would have to be seriously sick), she might not be able to afford her 2nd lear jet, and copious bottles of champagne, along with extended stays in rehab centres.

Hell, she already has trouble affording underwear!!!

I hate them also(although for some reason I hate people who pirate music more) because now it's driving the price of movies and music up and all the good music and movie stores are closing down. I hate them; makes me want to kick them in the nuts. I was just saying that tv is free, but for some reason youtube and all these other websites take off tv shows after a few days and I don't completely understand why.
