Boys Brigade Isle of Wight Camp

That brings back memories, Whitecliff Bay.

We camped there with a Glasgow Company in one year and a Danish Company another.

Brading, Blackgang and Carisbrooke and we were ther just after the Kart Track opened.

Oh yes, and staggering home from the Smugglers in Bembridge in the last year when we were old enough!

Coastline looks nothing like it did when I was there with the BB, loads of the cliff have fallen away, the Maze at Blackgang was about 3 inches high!

The Boys Brigade came in St Helens In the I.O.W is a great site. I remember it well when I was in the Boy's Brigade. But I thought I heard a rumour the site being sold. I HOPE NOT....

The Site goes by the name of Lower Dean Bembridge farm. I've known it since 1995 and i think it was upgraded a bit before that. Early mornings are still the norm!

Hi, I remember camping at a site on the island with the boys brigade in the mid sixties, I seem to recall the camp site was at a place called st helens is this the same site? .................it looks a lot more fun now! , all I remember is being woken up early in the morning in time to wake the birds up! , and cleaning out the toilets (chemical)!. happy days!!

Hey! Awesome video. I'm off on camp this friday, lol. Can't wait. We go every year and about two years ago we went to the Isle of wight and we're going there again next year, I might suggest some of the activities for next year's :D. Nice Vid.
