I was in the Greensboro audience one of the first times Elvis sang this in public!!! They were filming "Elvis on Tour"! I was in the movie near the end in the Greensboro segment. Elvis sang it just like he had been singing it all his life....he said it was a brand new piece. He had the sheet music in front of him....but he hardly used it at all!!! Golly, I miss him!!!! <3
