@misterlegoman Try typing in RHCP, the song name ( any song really) Bass tabs. Click on Songsterr, 911 tabs etc. SongSterr tab is easy to see and audio too. Hopefully their tab is close to the original. Hope this helps. I usually just pause these videos to observe frets.

@deviote She is Playing a Squire vintage jazz 77..The best bass you can get for the money,,It is a perfect bass for a beginner with the thin neck and they sound great..They also have one in natural with black block fret markers for the same price and its called the Squire vintage jazz bass..with out the 77 and that body is a little better and a little heavier because its maple.either way you can not go wrong with this bass.If you google it I think its 249.00 shipped.Good luck

@deviote You will be sorry!!!!!The pick ups in the vintage jazz and the vintage 77 BLOW THE VIBE PICK UPS AWAY!!!!They are symour duncan design And it s not a gimmick they are worth the few extra dollars plus the wood is better.I found the vintage jazz for 279 shipped just by googling it..You wont beat that price for the vibe and if you do its miniscule..It's your money!

ok... about bass. this is my 2nd squier.

1st i bought Squier jazz standard and i can say that was rly cute one but there was thing which i didnt like so i decide to sell it and buy other one (exp pickups was bad and i had trouble to set it).

This one... you must know that is not pro bass guitar but if you compare price and what you ll get for it, in my opinion i ll recommend it at all (sond - sweet, neck - rly fit in my small hands i love it)

you should position your hand so that you don't slide your whole hand when you do the chromatic ascents or descents, and you can use your fingers to make it sound more legato.
