MIDI is a day late and a Dollar short, Logic is Very Tight, analog signals are not multiplexed like digital ones, for Depeche Mode and others, this wasn't a disadvantage at all (BBC Micro),it;s just a matter of the "strictness" that certain riffs demand... I hardly know it all about this stuff, but "Situation" would be just 'off' via a MIDI sequencer... fractions of a second, but it's something you feel. Didn't want a technical debate!

RE: "Vince,throw away your macbook and bring back the sequencer... .Alf was great!!!"The "Sequencer" is "IN" the MacBook: Vince calls it a "Studio in a box", and rather likes the technology (Logic) because it has a similar "tightness" when compared to the Roland MC-4.

P.C. Midi sequencers (BBC w/ UMI. Cubase, etc) had big latency problems.

I saw The Yazoo concert on 7.7.08 in Oakland CA and the duo still have the 'magic', and YES Alf raised the roof, while Vince shook the house down ALL NIGHT!

midi is a serial protocol so it can never compete with parallel pulses sent by analogue sequencers (CV/Gate).

Hi Ihr!Ich muß die Ausschnitte immer wieder ansehen.Kann das immernoch nicht raffen das es dieses Konzert gab!

In etwa dieser Ecke wo diese Aufnahmen gemacht worden hab`ich gestanden(-neben so einem frustriertem,unmusikalischem,b­londen Gift!),und um mich nur geile Leute und liebe Schwule!Das Päärchen hinter mir wo er immer nießen mußte kann ich nicht vergessen!Ich glaub`ich war danach erkältet!?KICHER!

Leute, war *das* ein geiles Konzert! Gehe seit über 20 Jahren auf Konzerte und das hier ist definitiv in der Top 5. Was Alison Moyet live singt kriegen viele Popsternchen im Studio nicht hin.

So genial, dass Yazoo das Unmögliche möglich gemacht haben und den alten Fans diese Glücksmomente schenken. :-) Danke!
