DJ on Radio 1 in the early 80's was Mike Read & he was on til 9am. I love this song & it is in my personal top 5 of favourite songs of all time. It's a very special song that never gets old. I still hear it on some radio stations even now. It may have been the only hit here in England but it was & still is a classic. Thankyou to Stan for creating such a fabulous track. Peace Not War xxx

Stan Ridgway was i Oslo Norway at 86 i think. A friend of mine, was dancing to camoflage, close to Stan, under a concert(Chateau Neuf Oslo Norway). Full power. Then Stan gave my friend his beer(because he looked so exhausted?). I saw it. A better gift you cannot get. The best gift for him ever. He was in heaven, after that. Stan is the man!! Great music. 80`s the glory days.

Far from a one hit wonder. As well as the Wall of Voodoo stuff, he had solo hits with "Just Drive She Said", "I want to be a Boss" and "Don't Box Me In", although the lines are now blurry as to what was solo and Voodoo, as I think of Mexican Radio etc.

Anyway, he totally fails as a one hit wonder!
