  • the beatles says we need to work it out.

  • this puts me in a good mood when i hear these songs.

  • I love it!!!!!

  • Wow!!! thumbs up for this great song!!! ( best version )

  • Ten stars for this Beatles 45. :D

  • I wonder if there was any way that 'American top 40' could've edited this medley, when it started off with the intro. They hit #1 in Billboard, 6-20-81. God bless ya, for postin' it. Thanx!

  • @DaveWollenberg: AT40 played the US single version which is different from this version.

  • @corpsvalue You're right. The US single version started off with the 'Venus' riff.

  • i remember tis tune entering the charts n thinkin rip-off

  • Okay, and there's a SPARKS reference ("Beat the Clock") at the top of the song. Nuts!

  • Okay, and there's a SPARKS reference ("Beat the Clock") at the top of the song. Nuts!

  • makes me feel like dancing all round the room a fab song

  • FUCKIN AWESOME TUNE!!!!!!!!!

  • got the same record at 0:45 :)

  • Einfach nur Geil!!!

  • This song reminds me of doing discos with my daddy :) Happy times.. they played it on the radio this morning and it got cranked up, and i did stupid dances to it, and the people in the cars around me just looked and laughed, cos i knew it all off by heart and remembered every single link to every song, hahaha.. Amazing ♥♥

  • The Beatles medley/remix wouldn't be half bad if it wasn't for that incessant "clap". After a couple minutes its so annoying and distracting that it practically drowns out the awesomeness that is the Beatles.

  • @dershed Infact I think this record shows how awesome the Beatles were. A #1 hit 11 years after they disbanded, even when some were trying to argue music had "moved on". Music never moved on from The Beatles, because no one since has been able to create such a versitle, timeless backcatalog.

  • @dershed Er, welcome to Stars on 45? :P

  • Thumbs up if you learned the dance somewhere in Alberta

  • @raokin466 where is alberta? i live in australia?

  • @stdavross666 in Canada

  • Medlys then, now, mash ups!

  • GAAH! I wish current radio stations and DJs played this type of medleys instead of all this new auto-tuned crap.

    Long live The Beatles!

  • Haven't heard this in ages since 1982. This used to be on the radio very frequently.

  • I wonder how John Lennon would've reacted to this, for it came out only a few months after his murde.

  • Heard this on the radio, and looked it up

  • Sugar sugar, now it's Equal.

  • 4 folks don't like medleys, I guess. Billboard's #24 hit of '81. God bless! Hugs to ya, for postin' it.

  • Great childhood memories...So glad to have found this.

  • Had a strange dream about the beatles. had to get up and find this song. hope everyone enjoys

  • Billboard's 544th #1 hit of the rock era. Sure wish WLS- AM gave this 1 more airplay. God bless!

  • THE BEATLES MEDLEY "STARS ON 45"

  • Very cool stuff!

  • my my my.. i enjoyed dancing this.

  • The person who made this mix should be physically maimed in the manner of Foucault's description of Peine Forte et Dure.

  • My mother bought me the 45 back in the day! One of my favorites! Thank you for posting this! AWESOME!

  • hhaahaha, my dad use to listen to this.

  • @azianemily So did my dad! I loved listening to it.

  • Whats the Archie's song doing on here ?

  • @ninelivecat It was originally on the US version of the medley. Dunno 'bout other countries' versions. God bless!

  • @ninelivecat because it sounds good in there! lol

  • @ninelivecat I wondered the same thing when I first heard it 30 years ago. Not only "Sugar, Sugar" but the intro guitar riff from Shocking Blue's "Venus". These 2 tunes are missing, however, from the CD version I own.

  • my dAD GAVE ME THIS ON VINYL :)

  • @csvictory12 cool

  • This was our Family day song, but I missed it. :(

  • hey can you give me a link where u can download this :) thanks

  • O.K. one for mom and dad. Classic stuff

  • As best as I can recall, I never heard "I'll Be Back" or "You're Gonna Lose that Girl" until this release.

  • Lol this video makes me laugh! And I LOVE this song! Thanks for posting! :)

  • 10 years ago I bought a cd of the best of Stars On 45, & it has a long version of this song, but the guitar riff from Shocking Blue's "Venus" & The Archies' "Sugar, Sugar" are missing, though they were on the original single. The liner notes said there was a copyright problem, so they were omitted.

  • amazing mix.. but who put the archies at the start?

  • ...and Shocking Blue's "Venus" ;)

  • me too!!

  • I love this song I'm glad my dad showed it to me!!!

  • I LOVE this!! I remember it on the radio a lot during the summer of '81! Brings back good memories. Thanks for posting.

  • I love this song. thank you for posting.
