  • Is this video sponsored by Nike?

  • ever tried the CAE-MC404 ? Wah made by Custom audio electronic for Dunlop, pretty sweet.

  • What are you recording with?

  • wich signature wah should i buy from dunlop?? i really can't choose

i would like to have a wah pedal that has a realy deep range any ideas?

  • omg what a great sounding demo, and nice playing! u rock bro!

  • DUDE BY THE WAY WHAT ARE YOU PLAYING ?

  • no vox?

  • damn bro that low e is buzzing like hell

  • @ThatBigMetalhead

So I wan't the only one that heard that then! Nice playing tho bro and thanks for the comparo. I am looking at the Dimebag wah as I am after versatility but the cry baby sounded good in your vid. Cheers!

  • Guess which one is my favorite of these?

  • @rotren Crybaby

  • @rotren ..easy ...Fulltone Clyde !!!

  • @rotren evh

  • the EVH one suffocates the sound to much, but the Dunlop Cry baby sounds just amazing! i JUST ordered mine cause of your video ;)

  • @maggot6639 the EVH one is more pronounced in my opinion, great for searing solos, but whatever makes you happy ;)

  • i love your tone !!!! how do you get that!!!!

  • @blacksunshine3452 Suhr Classic + Marshall JVM...

  • what key are you playing in? for hendrix style part

  • EVH FTW!

  • Fantastic clean tone!for me the best wah is the original one!i bought one of those this mounth but still didnt had the time to try properly..but i really like its tone =) p.s. good playing dude! congrats! keep funkin! :D =)

  • Great audio quality. The clean sound is amazing for a Marshall amp if you ask me. Marshall amps are usually recognized for their distortion so the amp's sound is fantastic. I have to thank you. I currently have a Dunlop Crybaby Original and I I've been looking for something to replace it for a while know.

  • What wah does not sound good clean? Some mod wahs are made for gains.

It's just a band pass filter any should should OK clean, play them though an OD at least the ones designed for gain will shine more.

MXR CAE real dual Fazel Bradshaw mods, pay more get less.

  • Fulltone Rulz!

  • the other three are nice i dont like the evh cant believe how versatile the ex7 is the full tone has its signature sound and well the crybaby we have loved that one for so long now its hard to say much bad abut it

  • Love your clean, love your pedals, man =D

  • What is that Black pedal at the top of your chain?

  • @KDFrieds Korg Pitch Black Tuner

  • Dunlop Cry baby is the most simple, and the best sounding.

I have the orginal and the Slash Wah, the slash wah is great.

im gonna try out the Ernie Ball Wah! its suposed to be amazing!

  • Man, there are so many Wahs... must be like 20 at least... :P

  • nice. i wish you had the morley wah in here though

  • did you use a 57?

  • @FullSolo No, just the camcorder microphone.

  • Great!))) Thanks))))

  • This sounds better than most studio recordings

  • @kw1ksh0t Thanks man

  • i have a cry baby and a clyde, cry baby does better with heavier distortion, whereas the clyde does better if i when i play bluesy over drive.

cry baby is very harsh on top end but still nice

clyde is beautifully smooth, i use it as a filter all the time just cuz it doesn't sound like a cheap wah when its on, its like an additional tone knob

  • That Clyde sounds so crisp. Really nice original wah tone that. My least favorite of these 4 was the EVH wah. Looks SUPER COOL though. My favorite wah EVER is the Ibanez WH10!

  • Hey dude, can you give me the tabs for the minute 0:21 to the 0:31 ?

I love the sound and I think that it will help me for some Jams.

    Thank you man

  • You are the only person in youtube that doesn´t talk in the video and that is not barefoot. Great demo!!!!

  • Love the clean tone : ) What pedals do you use to get that?

  • @MrSfoose Just the Marshall JVM.

  • The digitech is the best ù_ù

  • can somebody please tell me what song he is playing in the beggining??

  • for me the best is the Crybaby, dunlop is a god!

  • dime wah = best :)

  • wah without distortion is like a girl without tits imo..

  • @TheBlackJacksItalia apparently you've never heard jimi hendrix's voodoo chile intro...

  • @jamesonclark14 wtf are you talking about? are you seriously stating that voodoo child intro is with clean tone? are you for real?

  • hmm are you using a sharktooth pick?

  • @Marcuspianoguitar he is using the devils thorn

  • Great Sound!! Amazing!

  • both babys sound the best, i had the original for a while, but cudnt deal with that guessing feeling when u switch it on at a gig, so i got the 95q, its expensive but worth it for that reassurance and the adjustable wah

  • Great playing brother, and I'm gonna have to side with the crybaby.

  • hi this quation is for anyone. what is better the Original crybaby wah or the Rocktron tri wah?

  • I like the Crybaby best, and that's the one I bought. It's my favourite wah ever.

  • Hey I was just wandering, what board is that by Pedal Train? is it like a PT-2?

  • I like how you don't talk and just play :)

  • aha!

this is a comorcial to nike!

    got u!

  • i wish i could give him more than 5 stars.

  • @7xrepiv Haha thanks!

  • Hey excelent, dude, can you send me tabs of 0:22 to 0:35 please? Please excuse me if you don´t understand my english, I´m uruguaian.

  • Cool sneakers :) And thanks for this video, I've been planning to finally buy a wah-pedal myself and you just made my decision a lot easier.

  • Thanks for the demos. EVH in my opinion was the best in this demo.

  • You'd be surprised if you could try a G-LAB WOOWEE WAH pedal but I never saw it on american demos

  • I still like my crybaby from hell... very versatile with the tone knob along with all the parameters you can fiddle with, so awesome...

  • Sound quality on the video is amazing. Fantastic tone.

  • i love your videos

  • how much did that pedal board cost you?

  • The Clyde Wah pedal is the best pedal there exact specs of a vintage vox wah.. true bypass don't lose tone with it.. and the sweep is just perfect.

If I didn't have the Buddah Wah I would have gotten this one for sure.

    Nice Video Rotren.

  • Which wah is the best to get some fuzzy oldschool rock and roll wah-sounds?

  • the plain and simple crybaby sounds the best to me

  • @daryl5551

I found with it, that at the higher volumes it doesn't perform very well with it have a very damaging affect to your tone. Tbh I believe that the better wah's are the more expensive wah's because the fill the missing gaps in the cheaper ones, however if your buying a Basic Vox or Crybaby for around £50 - you can't complain. Whereas the higher end Wah's cost atleast over £150.

If your recording, buy the higher end stuff. If, the cheaper Wah's are best suited to you.

  • No love for the V847 Wah?

  • Ex 7 is the one I think I'm gonna get

  • the clyde rocks!

  • hey great review!!! comparisons where great tooo...cool video

  • Great Demo Robert ! Nice comparsion.

Do you own all of them or have you been able to borrow some of them for the demo ? I remember you own (or have own) the clyde ?

Keep it up / crippe - sweden

  • Thanks, I own the Clyde Wah on the video, yep, as well as the Digitech EX-7.
