Thanks for the post. I was lucky to see him on Broadway in Golden Boy back in 1965. When the play ended, Sammy came back out onto the stage and sat down with his legs dangling off the stage & began to tell us stories. What a guy, nobody does that, finish a 2 hour play and still give more. I Miss Him. Peace & Love Sammy.
He was terrifically talented and rightfully admired. Thanks for the intro to a DVD.
