  • Hmph... someone has a connection to God and hasn't told anyone. Finally, some real music.

  • Very Wonderful*****

    Happy New Year!

    Greetings from Petersburg :))

  • best "tune" of his surely.

  • He is not playing he is beating the guitar :P

  • Comment removed

  • this is definitely art. to express particular emotions that nobody' s able to express. Fleeting but important little truths that we grasp in the momentum, rare pieces of soul between dismay and bliss. Pino is an artist. Without haughtiness he plays very technically complex music, filling each song with original beauty, with uncomparing taste. He does not fear to face his emotions, perfect medleys of woe and joy, and show them through his guitar.

  • He must use nylon guitar strings

  • @dhs911230 nope, steelstrings!

  • I'm proud to get this video to it's 140000th play, but it's still waaay to less.

This guy is my favourite, his stuff Never gets boring.

  • Che tocco, che dinamiche, che creatività..

    Chapeau!

  • space travel..well!

  • His name is Pino? Great.

It is a beautiful guitar sound. Is very soothing.

    Will be healed.

  • I can't help but feel and overwhelming sense of peace when listen to this. It has the ability to allow you to believe that in some way everything is going to be ALRIGHT!! Thank you Pino!

  • @blabcat I GOT THAT TOOO!!! did you hear his fase 1 song? it brought the water world of hyrule to mind...where he can buy the water outfit and everything...its been a while but it totally reminded me of it too...best game ever haha..and this guy is good ^^

  • You have to see this guy live......captivating sound and impeccable musicianship!!!

  • Got to see him live. He will be playing solo and with his group, Guitar Republic, at the Canadian Guitar Festival in July 2011. Go to Candyrat Records.

  • He can make his guitar talk, no not just talk but sing a beautiful song known only to the heavens above

  • omg what a genius of emotion ..this is truley inspiring . god has blessed him with power beyond comprehension thank you for your practice.!!!

  • Spank it Pino!

  • Pino is great.

  • For me !? thank you.

  • The music of Pino goes in to the realm of minimalism at times. He manages to create these incredible timings and patterns of sound that seem to make use of silence as much as the sound from the guitar itself.

  • @circoncifion of course it was made for d1, but it wasnt the original d1...

  • @circoncifion No, Hellfire = D1 addition, or expansion or wahtever it was... It had a seperate cd...

  • @circoncifion Yeah but hellfire sucked, I didnt enjoy it very much compared to D1 and D2

  • @circoncifion Thats what Cain says in Diablo hahahaha its a game

  • Stay a while and listen.

  • @RWMunchkin12788 If you say so Deckard Cain... hahahha

  • First time I'm reading people saying there are negative comments about this man. Good thing Youtube has many page lists, that way I won't see those comments on the first page.

  • when you think it cant get any better it does

  • Meeting him was probably one of the greatest moments of my life

  • ....passeggiata al tramonto in inverno...qualche parte lungo un canale della laguna veneta.... nebbia... freddo... anima melancolica... grandioso... grazie!

  • Thats some deep music right there

  • Thumbs up

  • B1 F#2 C#3 D3 A3 D4

If you click the "tabs" link, it is there. Also, ain't it the best thing in the world when you hear a piece of music that is EXACTLY what you feel you need to hear? My hat goes off to this guy for being brilliant and channeling his soul directly into his music. Something most people are afraid of doing.

  • @rexasul that tuning is wrong :s it's from high to low: EBED#G#C#

  • Put a keep are you , again

  • It is obvious to me that this man lives and breathes guitar

  • BEAUTIFUL

  • no need to watch...............just close your judgment and listen.......thats all

  • looks like a monk from 3rd century b.c. got dug up in what used to be Gaul thawed out and went for the first guitar he could find so he could play for us.

  • brilliant piece!

  • More than fantastic. I will him live in Feb. Jacked! Guitar of choice would be a Martin??

  • @Trouthog1 im seeing him in februrary too, where are you from?

  • Wunderschön!!!

  • this man inspires me

  • 18 people are Justin Bieber fans.

  • beautiful..

  • what is the tuning can anybody tell me ??

  • @mindfrak1 C#G#C#EBe . its so fun.

  • @quarentine99 a mistake

    the correct tune is C#G#D#EBe

  • @cesarscreamo oh thanks. Its also the tuning Stefano Barone uses in Spankie

  • ........loved this tune for years!! ................ this guy is different fucking class!!! hope you are checking this out oor Cris !!

  • It's amazing to watch to slow, deliberate playing of such a master as Pino. He seems to move almost in slow motion, never needlessly rushing to the next note or chord. The tortoise beats the hare again!

  • 18 people forgot to press play.

  • I see in many videos that someone say about the ones who dislike the video "you need new acoustic devises, / u have problems with your standards etc". Although i really like this song, i see unwise to judge someone who simply dislike this song, no matter how unlikely this seems to the majority of us.

  • Heart felt!

  • Five stars, music flows...18 people need new hearing aid devices !

  • Just goes to show you that you don't need to play blistering runs or have inhuman technique to keep things interesting. This is expression of the highest order, my hats off to you sir...

  • @BiorythmicDrifter Ummm, with all due respect, this guy's technique IS inhuman. The precision with which the fingers on his right hand move is utterly unfathomably difficult to replicate, and it takes decades of practice and playing in order to play like that naturally. Simply watching the movements of his fingers is a show enough, being able to hear the music they're creating is another world entirely.

  • @BiorythmicDrifter romanticists unite!

  • The way he plays the guitar reminds me of Michael Hedges.

  • mostruosamente bella**

  • this is what music is all about

  • If you've played the game Flower, then you know that Pino's compositions need to be the soundtrack for that entire game. You are a musical genius my friend. Not one second of any of your videos have I lost the slightest bit of interest. I've never been so inspired. Thank you.

  • Candyratrecords, can you please make a transcription available for sale of this song??

  • amazing jast amazing

  • tell me this song aint amazing... i used to listen to it everyday and dang it still fascinates me lol

  • i can't help but forgive and forget any negative thoughts when i hear this song

  • Congratulations on creating a tune so beautiful. I really did cry. Turned my speakers up loud for everyone in my band to hear and we all had our lighters out for you Pino!

  • ... forse la mia preferita... d'incanto...

  • Simply Amazing

  • The tuning for this is identical to the tuning for Wild Parking: C#G#D#EBE On the album it might be an entire step lower.

  • This guy is no genius,,

He is just a good guitar player and has great talent. Yes it is simple but very deep,,,

  • Makes it look easy - but it's not. Wonderful music!

  • Geniale Pino^^, Echt gut.

  • what guitar is he using?I mean who made it?

  • Martin D-28, I think.

  • 1957 Martin D-28 bought in Rome. He is touring Midwest in April with Guitar Republic.

  • @rastaxman I had the pleasure of seeing them in Michigan. What a night it was.

  • Think it's DADGAD, one full tone down.

If anyone cares, and has the ability.

  • That first strum at 33 seconds gives me chills every time...

  • does anyone know what tuning this is played in? i can play this style but nowhere near this good and want to start writing loadz of it. But That particular tuning i really like

  • Most guitarist are rubbish compared to this guy.

  • OMG HE LOOKS LIKE MY PHYSICS TUTOR. Lol. But I know he couldn't play guitar. Love the song btw. XD

  • COOL AS F@@K.!!

  • It's all about the emotion. Gotta love that. I hope someday I will find a D 28 or something with as much character as this one. New guitars are sweet, but I have to sway towards the lore and history behind a used axe. Just wonderful.

  • tab is for the weak listen and you shall be set free

  • This mad scientist found the secret formula in order to get laid by hot chicks wherever he goes!

    His AWESOME MUSIC!

  • Comment removed

  • Give me access to the fucking tablature to this awesome fucking song please!

  • wow ... fantastic

  • I can't help but compare him to Radiohead.

  • not even remotely close.

  • Thank you for your opinion on my opinion

  • Speechless...........thanks for the post ever so much

  • brilliant....

  • wow this guy is an absolute genius

he is a master of his instrument and the way he can translate his emotions in music is wonderful

you can see and hear the peace and joy in his expressions and sound

    brilliant

  • It's sure that he have a classical background, but i'm sure he have a jazz too. And, sometines, his rythms are afro cuban.

  • he was classically trained in italy, i'm quite sure.

  • I'm sooo glad I have this CD/DVD, it's stunning!

I think because of his classical background Pino works a lot with phrasing, and he just has Soooo much control. as if he could just play the guitar with his mind, without using his hands...

  • I love the part at 2:20!

    Blows my mind everytime

  • I love the 'minor->major->minor' transitions at 3:20.

For me, this song would be somehow called 'Playing with your mind' :D. He's 'playing' with us.

  • Oh my, I LOVE THIS. Seems like perfect :D. Those licks and that boosted bass make me close my eyes and imagine...... Pino you are great!

  • Just his facial expression explain his music...so much soul sweat put into everything he doe.

  • Very impressive, even though I've never heard this song. This guy has a certain smoothness.

  • Wow. It is so depressing to see so many negative statements. What I see and hear is a guy with his passion for music expressing one of many parts of his self awareness. Simple, complex? what matter is this when he is so capable of expressing his feelings with sound? For us to be a part of it, that is magic!

  • @Raven101able I haven't seen any yet..:\ Anyone care to point some out? How you could you say ANYthing negative about this guy??? EVER??

  • what a great song. truly an inspiration.

  • this guy's a fucking boss

  • I love these Candyrat artists

  • best actual "tune" ive heard tonight.... excellent playing!!!! bravo!!

  • Excellent !

  • 素晴らしい!

  • Holy shit look at the crazy guy of late he plays much more ...

  • I saw both he and Antione live at a small church in Detroit. I want to say it was brilliant, but everything was the same tempo, same dull syncopied sound. Someone needs to give some variety within the candyrat herd. Otherwise, I am amazed at the abject talent candyrat often displays!!

  • Comment removed

  • I think that Antoine's attack on the guitar is different than Craig's melodic approach. Pino is such an artist with the guitar but he could have played a couple more dynamic pieces other than Rag Tap Boom . Perhaps Hidden 7 and Circolare?

  • Brilliant - beautiful song. Evokes such emotion in the listener.

  • @Eddogg11111 how idiotic

  • Does he play Martin guitars?

  • yup, from 1957 or something, pretty old guitar for sure

  • The punctuation of this piece is amazing. The exclamation/question mark at 2:11 is really great. Thanks to all of the wonderful music. Bravo!

  • 1 pick up and two mint mics, fat bastard! lol

  • Masterpiece!

  • what tuning is this , if anyone can advise ,thanks

  • The sound of you resting on your dream girls chest after a stressful moment.

The sound of you sleeping with your dream girl.

  • There's a little too much dissonance to me to be that simple...

This song actually feels a little darker, almost among the lines of suicide.

  • Really?

I don't know if I'd go as dark as suicide.. though I did feel a sense of darkness at one or maybe two points.. I felt also as though I was in a serene brisk field watching a sunrise/sunset with a light breeze..

  • Yeah I can see where you get that.

I thought of suicide because I saw the live version in the video response prior to watching this. If you watch the ending to that live version, he strums once behind the nut at the end, it just sends a chill down my spine.

  • Ohhh... nice.

I'll definetly have to see that... Pino is past amazing.

  • dang man... im feelin that too....

  • Its amazingg.

  • Yeah, I got that kind of feeling too, especially from the first minute or so.

  • Awesome...

My FAV part of the song is definetly 3:39 - 4:05

I can't figure out why my comment is -1 did I offend someone? o.O

  • that's the most boring and 'normal' part of his song. if everything else he played sounded more like that one part, he wouldn't have nearly as much style.

  • Well I'm sorry. I would say tho, that it needn't always be 'complex' to be beautiful. The fact he can find such gorgeous melody with the level of simplicity is amazing.

  • the way he looks when he's playing reminds me of Pagini :p

  • There is beauty not only in the expression through melody; but also, in the sound logic of harmony. Subtle beat and rhythm simply keeps the flow of these intertwined beauties. That is what music is meant to be.

  • does anyone has a clue what pickup sytem that is?

  • Comment removed

  • Im mean besides the condenser mics....

like the pickup in his guitar

  • Man that sounds lush...Martin for sure...

i wish i could pick like that....Nicely done Sir!

  • he has a very interesting picking style

  • i pick like that too, i found it easier when i was first learning to fingerpick, it just works.

  • along the way you quit playing an instrument and start creating an atmosphere of dynamic emotional exspression

  • Well said. Actually, that is one of the wisest things I have EVER read. You my friend, should be proud of yourself.

  • Those words are just beautiful. Nothing touches the human heart like music! :)

  • good

  • great Pino !!! f*

  • what guitar is this ???

  • make face some easy plz xDDDDDDd

  • This man is one who plays the unknown,5 stars!

  • pretty good, but looks like a mad scientist playing nice guitar

  • XDDDD

  • mwahahaha major chords and death potions!

  • You've gotta love it!!!

  • I bet it's people like you who play the music in heaven.

  • That's exactly what I thought, utterly beautiful...

  • hes wearing like monk sleeves of someting....2:37, He looks like a monk

but hes a good guitar player :)

  • DUDE YOU ROCK =)

  • The first time i saw this guy play, i thought he looked like a retard while playing. But for some reason, after listening a lot to his music, i don't think that at all anymore.

  • I understand where you're coming from. What he's actually doing, near as I can tell, is reflecting the music through his movements (facial expressions, hand gestures.) This is something I've been learning the hard way through my exposure to American Sign Language.

  • breathing and moving and all this type of stuff is actually a really big help for phrasing

  • 2:19.....perfect

  • Indeed. Ants' moving on my back...

  • who cares how he is dressed. he is a musician, and makes beautiful music. appearance and fashion as one type of expression but what this guy does expresses himself completely. i dont think there is anymore room for expression.

  • STONER ALERT STONER ALERT!!!!

  • he could have atleast dressed up!!! He looks well messy
