90 gallons is plenty big for 2 oscar. american are the only people with that standard. i have 6 oscars in a 100 gallons for 4 years without any disease or death. water check out pretty clean too. and it only run on 2 aqua clear 110 and and 2 powerheads
just because your water is clean doesnt mean the valuse are correct,you need to test to know whats going on in theenviroment, kh, dh, ph, amonia, its worth it and the tests are cheap, save you loosing fish, ive never have had an oscar die, and i do a weekly test, up to you what you do

Yes. Hole in the head can easily be cured with frequent water changes. Almost every oscar gets it at least once in their life, and it normally isn't a big deal, unless the water quality is terrible. Also, Im sorry to say these guys didn't have a great chance at being healthy in a 90. You really need a 125 or larger unless you change the water very frequently.

Actually you can. It will take a while, and there will generally be a scar, but that is how you usually treat them. By frequent, I mean 75-80% twice a week. Plus you must always supplement their diet with with bloodworms, tubifex, frozen foods, fresh veggies, etc. or else they will get HITH.
@whothq18 If your fish does develop Hole in the Head Disease then act quickly by first carrying out a water test. If your fish has got this disease then the chances are it is your water conditions that are causing the problem, it is extremely uncommon for fish to develop this disease for no reason.
nice fish ive just got one,hes cool,they nead good water quality to stop them getting hole in the head they can come back from it so dont kill them give them a chance
sigh somehting happend in my tank 3 days after adding ick medicine and kiled alot of my fish and maybe 16 more will die but if there is nothing i can do i might be getying oscars for ym tank

to combat hole in the head in oscars they need vit c, nutrafin pellets contain vit c, or buy vit tabs from a good fish stockist
