This is from her first album 1985/86. I had the pleasure of seeing Ms. Houston at the then Boston Music Hall, where she looked and sang flawlessly. She brought the house down, as she had done many, many times since. Bet most of you could not say that in many lifetimes? She hit a few "bumps" along the way, but she will smooth those out. Our voices change several times in our lifetime, so hers will regain a strength & sound all her own. Let's be compassionate, after all she's only human!

This is my favorite song. My only dughter played this on stage on her violin at her 5th grade graduation ceremony and did a solo, I was so proud of her after 5 years of learning to play the violin. When she graduated from hish school I put this only picture of her on stage in a photo/scrapbook album she still has at the age of 34. I just told her children about this, and they never knew she played a violin. They are 13 & 14 and I showed them the album. It's the best song ever.
