It's not FREE. They are giving away a demo (2 planes and an island) in the hopes that you'll buy all their crappy DLC. A lot of games give away demos, but they don't pretend it's a free giveaway, this is a marketing stunt, don't fall for it. Demos are meant to be free. Games like TF2 are true FTP.

Microsoft have totally got the wrong idea with this, the MS Flight Simulator series is called Flight *Simulator* for a reason. No sign of any plane bigger than a 2 seater and no sign of a whole-world simulation, true FS fans will get bored of Hawaii and aerobats very quickly. I don't care if its free, I (and a significant population I hope) am looking for a simulator that lives up to its predecessors. (Thumbs up if you agree =] )
