@rollerpoid My HV20 has been broken for two years or so now, so it's a non-issue at this point. But, I wouldn't be much interested even if I had one (or another camera). I'm a deep-focus kind of guy and go for maximum depth-of-field whenever possible (barring a few experiments in the past).
Me being from canada i rarely hear any of this music on the radio one. I wish we had local bands that sound good and send a good message, instead of the metal bands (which i love) that are just loud and angry. Its quite the contrast between genres I know, but i cant help it. I love the fleet foxes and to see them live.. dont even get me started. Although, i have a question. do they do drugs?
BRAVO! Such a beautiful video! Such a beautiful song! Fleet Foxes are simply the most amazing group I've heard in years. Thank you for including the whole song and not cutting out the part at the beginning. Also, the music at the end during the credits sounds quite interesting. Again, thanks for the beautiful video.
@TIMOTHYSAARINEN Thank you very much Timothy! I appreciate your kind words and the amount thereof.
And I've made a bunch of music videos like this (35 to be exact), and I've always included the song in its entirety in each of them. I'm glad you noticed that here and appreciated it.
@BrentLong ... In the Appalachian Mountains it's almost a MUST to play an instrument. These guys have it down almost too well. :)
A good friend of mine, Bless her heart, Jane, sent this to Senators Byrd and Rockefeller, they loved FF's. I'd say that's a pretty good sign of what's to come.
@oldmanmck it's funny I live in the Appalachian area and it seems that most young people here want to imitate the city culture and these guys (FF) are from the city but seem to appreciate and adapt the Appalachian sound . They are one of the best bands I have heard in years.

Have you ever thought of making a 35mm adapter for your HV20?

This song puts me to mind of C,S,N, Y

and .... they really got the Appalacian sound down. VERY WELL DONE.

@oldmanmck Haven't heard much C,S,N,Y, so no comment there. But agreed on the Appalachian sound.

I heard this on the radio last night -- some college station -- and man I couldn't get back to sleep after it went off! I love how it begins!!
PropheticSarahNell 2 years ago
Nice. I've had that sort of thing happen to me all the time. Immediately, I have to get out of bed to look for more on the song/band.
BrentLong 2 years ago
Yeah. I just grabbed a piece of paper and scribbled down some of the lyrics and looked up the info today.
Something about that beginning, woo...
I just love it.
