Yeah its cool that they give you a copy to keep on your PS3. All Blu-rays should do that as a standard since the PS3 was such a big factor for Blu-ray winning the format war. Most Blu-ray players out there are PS3's after all.
Yes it should be fine because there is no code to put in. The demo is already on the Blu-ray, so when you put it in to your PS3 your just extracting the 3GB file on to your HDD.
