GREAT MUSIC . I FIRST HEARD THE BRIDGE CEILI BAND .AT A CEILI DANCE IN MILLTOWN HALL. NEAR MULLINGAR CO WESTMEATH.AROUND 1970. ALWAYS ENJOY LISTING TO THEM. I AM WONDERING IF ANYONE. @dle462 It was composed as a waltz by Tommy Peoples and was recorded by him on the album "The Quiet Glen" (Track 1). As for who turned it into a jig, i'm not sure!!
