when he revs at around 0:04 would you have to have the cluch engaged to rev or can you just crank the throtle ?

You can hear the RPM's dip a bit. He pulls in a clutch, blips the throttle, and then lets the clutch back out. Unless you're in a really high gear, the bike will lurch/accelerate if you just hit the throttle like that.

I have a 2009 nightster, and I weigh 250 and it's a bitch when you hit bumps in the road. Fortunately I ride my ultra classic more, because the nightster is my daughter's bike. My other daughter rides the 92 sportster and it has better suspension and softer seat. But they're 20 and 17 so they can handle the bumps better than me. maybe I should lose that 60 lbs and trade in the ultra.......NAAAAAAA
