I'd say that's a pretty small group of the race. I'm Irish, and I don't have red hair. It seems to be a thing with Irish Americans...a lot of them don't even know what heritage they are, but tell people they are Irish just because they have red hair. When in reality they are probably German, Scottish, Jewish, or any other race.
