@fleming334 - Full throttle used to just burn the tires and not go too far. Fully built cars can be found for anywhere from $7k-20k depending on what it is. Lots of variables.

I have the same car, 2009 black Civic DX-G (measly 140 hp with 1.8 L engine + automatic transmission) and there is almost nothing you can do with that car that would be reasonably priced. You could add a KNE air intake and get a custom exhaust but that's at most +10 hp if you're lucky...Sell that car, get an SI (2006 SI would be quite within your price range if you could afford the 09 civic) and enjoy your 200 hp car with plenty of aftermarket upgrades available.

nice. my first fast car was a 93 EG with ls vtec swap bone stock internals with just hammered in sleeve and arp headstuds. 11psi and full slicks 550cc hondata tuned. never really got a chance to dyno it but did 12.20 on 24" slicks at 113mph.

Yes, for real. It was a built 10:1 ITR block w/ 18psi making good power on 93 pump gas.  Nobody ever clicks on "more info". This was some half throttle testing screwing around on the street back in the day, so maybe only 300whp? Check out the other video, the car made 400whp a long long time ago.
