  • A piano would be nice.

  • Yahhzzz like, OMG the mom was totez the best and likez Mr. Man daddy was so badddddddd

  • This video always sends me back to when I was there. Good times. Yall were one of the only musical acts I got the pleasure of seeing, and you blew me away everyone in our group away. It was only a few years ago, but it seems so long gawd graduating sucks lol

  • that was amazing! Lossing the accompaniment halway though tends to make things difficult, but they didn't een skip a beat!

  • I would appreciate the piano with them.

  • -_______________- ouch my ears.

  • THAT

    WAS

    AMAZING

    !!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • God. They were so good. And they looked so convincing. Leave it to the Thespian Conferences to have the best of the best. Love it. Thumbs up, guys. Keep at it. <3

Sure the guy couldn't hit that one high note in "baby" but still. He was amazing. All it needs is a little practice.

  • I think my favorite person was Olive. The guy needs to work on the really high notes...he has a really good lower range though. The mom is ok as well, but Olive did the best.

  • You guys are GREAT!

  • I agree, Olive needed to seem more like a litle girl who happens to be rather mature for her age than a fully grown woman. Her singing voice made me think she was just a young woman, not a 12 year old.

  • Olive didn't make me believe she was a child. She sounds 40. The girls are good, regional theather if they work hard. The male you could see on broadway one day.

  • very awesome!

  • awsome job keeping pitch even when the piano cuts out

  • that was beautiful!! the mom should probably work on breathing a lil bit but her voice is outstanding :D and Olive still did great even when the piano player lost their place or sumthin. :D her high not was so beautiful!! and omg love the dad's voice. wow... he carried so well!

    great job! :D

    much love

wish i could sing like those girls! omg. :D

    ~me

  • the father dood is sooooo hot

  • Omg... I'm sorry... That was awful... Maybe it's just me being picky, but the boy carried that song. He was absolutely wonderful... I don't know what was up with the rest. The blocking was wonderful though.

  • OMG, holy shit that was amazing.that one note is danm hard to sing.

  • Holy shit.

That note, the mama one, after shanti shanti and om

    jesus christ

    it's so beautiful.

    that performance was amazing.

    i wish i had the father's voice.

  • It was alright. olive should probably work on her chest voice in order to 'belt' some of those higher notes. mom should work on her breathing to hold longer notes, and the dad is good, but make sure you can dedicate to a note, because cracking (the belted baby) isn't nice and it distracts from your talent. but kudos for continuing without your music, you barely dropped pitch.

  • That was great! What happened to your piano player?!

  • I wish I could sing as well as all of them! You guys are amazing!!!!

  • i actually really liked the blocking with her parents involved, particularly at the end with the look at both of them. it was refreshing and since it was just the song, not the whole plot line it worked

  • it's good, but "the mom" sounds a little flat (just a little) but its good. Sounds like throat problems, maybe not tho.

  • could be better...

  • beautiful voices... really i love this song

  • the girl who plays olive in this looksl ike me!

  • very very good!!!!all three are quite talented!!!love this song!!

  • i love this song

  • Dude. I love this fscking thing. :D

    This song is so amazing.

I really want to do this play at my school next year.

I'm so jealous of the actors' voices.

    LOVE <3

  • OMG i was there. they were amazing /bow

  • ok seriously...ya'll kicked ASS withough the music...not the easiest song anyway, especially acapella!! damn kids. good save! good job!!!!

  • I really wasn't trying to say it wasn't good. It was- I wish I could have heard it with the accompaniment, too. How did y'all use this for a thespian competition? There's a five minute time limit for all individual events except Ensembles and One Acts, isn't there?

  • Thank you very much, MissDemeter.

  • Ross has a gorgeous voice! And I don't know what everyone is complaining about, it's a fabulous performance!

  • I like the blocking except during Olive's part in the middle. The parents are imaginary, they shouldn't be reacting to her! And the blonde keeps taking side steps to stage left- was there any purpose to that? That's kind of a plant-your-feet and sing it moment. And good job for keeping going w/o the music. The dad was really good, but he didn't need to try and belt the "by" of baby- just slip into falsetto, man!

  • the boy is amazing. the brunette is good, and the blonde shouldnt sound so mature. and it would sound so much better if she belted it especiallly the "mamas" but amazing to stay on tune while singing a capella

  • good but needs MUSIC!!!

  • the performance was pretty good!!1 I liked the blondes voice but I thought it was too mature sounding for a part that is supposed to be portraying a little girl

  • what happened to the music!? that sucks!!!

  • Oh my gosh. The music died in the middle and these pros kept going aca pella and KILLED IT. They are the poster children of preparation. They never could have pulled it off without music otherwise. What could have been horribly embarassing was actually BETTER without the accompaniment. Amazing.

For another great version of this song on YOUTUBE, type in "Teen Talent Follies"

  • The brunette was very sloppy when she sang on her runs omg >.< it was very distracting. Out of all the singers the blonde girl was the best. She was very controlled and could hit her notes... All together the performance was good not great, but still very good.

  • love the moms voice.OMG i love the dads voice more holy my god. whats his name he is amazing.ocapella was amazing 2. but the dudes voice was so mezmerizing

  • It was..um ok? Nothing extra-ordinary :\...

  • the guy has a fabulous voice.

  • the brunette is AMAZING...what a gorgeous voice!!!

  • The acapella really shined. The beginning had some awkward vocals, and a few pitch problems, but the harmony plus acapella equaled awesome for me.

  • God Damnit, this song gets me every time. I love those three so freaking much, and the filmer too, he has a nice butt. It hasnt been a full week and i miss you guys already.

  • wtf.

  • Oh...My...God

basically fell in love with the guy

and I NEED TO MEET HIM and i'm not even kidding, hahaha

    what awesomeness this is!

  • Oh my god! that was hands down the best!

  • WOW!! I have major goosebumps after hearing that. GREAT GREAT GREAT JOB!!!!! :)

  • omg....that was the best...ever. im going to do this song in my class and i was unsure if i wanted to do it but after watching this i want to do it so badly. You guys were past superior.

  • wow.

    goosebumps.

    acapella part?

    amazing!

    wow.

  • OMBOB! They are AMAZING! I got goosebumps!

  • THEY ROCK!!! That is soo cool! I really liked the acapella part to that is hard to do without any help! AWESOME!!!

  • I think it sounds amazing.

However I agree about the imaginary wall. I think it kind of looses the separation between the hope and wants of Olive and the reality. But great job.

  • good job. the boy was the best. the blocking was simple and effective, i just disliked how the middle girl breaks that imaginary wall and makes contact with her mother and father, it ruined the essence of teh thought of the song. otherwise, it was good!

  • Yeah pretty good job, dad sounds awesome except for those few high notes "aaaahhhh"

  • This is pretty much my favorite showtune ever, and this performance is really, really good. :-D

  • the guy is good, and i am sorry you lost you music you still did a nice job without it

  • Wow, they really did a great job.

Although, I think that the girl who did Olive should have made her voice sound more young, just because that's the part.

Other than that I love this. =D

  • that was really good. i love their voices. the song was beautiful aswell. incredible voice. i loved it. so touching. 5 stars.

  • the 3 part harmony was excellent..beautiful work

  • main is really good... i loved ur high notes

the "mom" needs work on her holding it out but ur still amazing

the "dad", dude u are amazing but dont try to hit those high note because u crack up there

u guys are all still amazing

  • that was cool. i thought it was supposed to be a capella. it sounded good. you all were really good, but i think i heard the "dad's" voice cracking or something.

  • You guys were great. I actually saw yall live. I was in Group Musical for I Love You, You're Perfect Now Change singing Cantata For a First Date. Was your music supposed to go out? Because I remember it did when I saw you perform this the first time.

  • OMFG That was amazing! The harmonizing was incredible. I notice you guys strained a bit at some notes but damn, those are hard notes to hit but you guys still did it awesomely. I'm glad the one playing Olive didn't break character once the music stopped <3

  • OMG that was amazing. i got goosebumps!!!!

  • I WAS THERE! YALL WERE AWESOME! And thats the best teenage male voice Ive heard! I wouldve hated 2 follow that act! lol

  • we DID follow that act!...or not so much..but we were competing with that act..and we were like..uhh YOU deserve to win!

  • Which song did you do? We competed in the same room as these guys too.

  • we did the other spelling bee song "pandemonium." What song did you do?

  • Haha, awesome! We did Coffee In a Cardboard Cup

  • ahh i remember coffee in a cardboard cup! mainly cause we did that number at our variety show last year! woohoo! Do you remember us?...we were the one where our awesome sponser is deaf and didnt realize that we couldnt hear the music and turned it down!..haah it was an experience!...did you go the year before?

  • I didnt do a song. I was in duet pantomime, we advanced to nationals. I loved watching all of u preform your musicals

  • wow. that's all i have to say, goosebumps.

  • wow that was good.

    wow.

  • You three were amazing. You can really tell that the guy has an amazing voice, and it sucks that he strained a little.

  • you guys sounded great. The harmony was amazing. I was really impressed how you didn't seemed fased at all when the music stopped.

  • this song is soo much more powerful when oliver belts

  • You were all amazing! (But I love the dad's voice ^^)

  • u guys were great! u shud be proud the music stopped but yal didnt miss a beat! u betr of gt a superior or im gona get p-i-s-s-e-d PISSED! wyat 2 b broadway 4ever!keep doin wat u doin.

  • I actually forgot something.

I also am so amazed at the fact that the music stopped and the three of you kept singing like nothing happened, and finished the song pretty much perfectly. That is truly is the best test for a singer. You passed with flying colors.

  • Wow.

I officially watched this twice. I got goosebumps each time. If this didn't win mainstage, what did? Bernadette Peters? :P

I truly believe all three of you can have quite a career ahead of you if you so choose.

The best part was the "climax", the "I love you" when you all three faced front and just sang. Amazing.

That is one of my favorite songs ever. Good Job.

  • Cameras a little shakey, but you guys have great talent!

  • OMG! this is a great video... You guys all sing so well

  • i felt like al three of you were straining your voices sooo much! it sounded like you were hurting yourselves to sing. especially the guy..he sounds like hes struggling towards the end. ugh..

  • wow that was totally awesome!! that ross guy has quite a voice. all three were amazing. thanks for posting!

  • I was there as well... I was amazed by the performance. It's a shame that you went over time. I was in the group musical that went to Main Stage and I gotta say you three were the best that I saw. Amazing vocals.

  • I saw you perform this at ITS. I was thoroughly amazed by the performance you all put on. I'm glad I'm in pantomime and not group musical is all I have to see. Hope to see you in Nebraska!

  • i was definately there to witness this! i was totally rooting for you guys to win mainstage and definately bummed when you didn't make it!...great jobs!

  • aw... the sound went out... nice job you guys! Was this at the Texas thesbian convention? cuz I was there and my friend and I did duet musical theatre! great job!

  • So freakin awesome, i love everyone in this video
