Its possilbe that your game is just glitched. I always keep the receipts from any games I buy, especially used. I doubt you'll like this idea but deleting the file and starting over is probably your only hope. Was that "Evading the cops" silver or gold? I couldn't tell. Mine does the same thing but i just dust the disk off, is your lazer lense dirty? Thats what was wrong with mine
