JC the former ADA probably received inside info as to what was coming down and saw his chance to free Ji Jaga if he could only insert himself into the Simpson defense team. JC ultimately had the hammer he needed in the concealed phone records to free Geronimo. His death he was willing to go or reveal them. A driven man has no limit he will go to extract retribution for an insult, JC meant to get his revenge for 1972 & he did.

Geronimo knew what time it was, young naiive JC didn't get it. GP knew he was going to get Life w/o for a murder in LA he didn't commit. A snitch, the LADA, LAPD, CA & FED Judges all knew the FBI had photoed GP in Oakland at same time of the LA murders but Black Panther Party members were in season! JC never got over the injustice.
