  • I love how the sparks dramatically go off behind him at 0:34!

  • Great !

  • One: That song is Voyage of the Damned Suite from the official soundtrack.

B/2: Any scene with an Allons-y in it is gold,

3/C: All the doctors are good, roll with it, and

4/D/[iv]: I still have no idea what he says here. It sounds like "While"

  • I'm a big fan of Doctor Who. And being french, the first time I heard Tennant saying 'Allons-y', I was like "OMFG ! The most amazing guy in the world is speaking my language, and turns it into something cool !"

    ...

    And also, bannakkaffallatta rocks. ;)

  • PERFECT! I LOVE THE DOCTOR!

  • ALLONS-Y. :D

  • he he he, he says that big speach then, 'good, alonze'

  • I got chills when he said this!

  • i like the baffakaffalatta and the fact hes a cyborg

  • Does anyone know the name of the song that starts at 0:30?

  • i luv it how when he said hes the doctor and hes a timelord that there was a spark in the background

  • EVERY, and i mean EVERY time i see this, i just feel like editing a trolls face onto his head, when he says, "have you got a problem with that?". Oh the epic greatness of a trolling time lord :)

  • SEX.

  • god i loved this episdode...Astrid wouldve made a hell of a good companion...just like lady christina de souza...why do all the good companions have to die or leave?

  • That would have been really funny if he said I'm batman

  • I love this he really told that Rickston bloke! Astrid had the hits for the Doctor!

  • doctor could make even the most worst adhd sit down and relax bu telling him that stuff.

  • Almost every time he says something amazing, sparks fly. Love it. :3

  • SO EPIC! I swear no other tv show or movie will ever have anything close to the epicness that is The Doctor.

  • very simply - wow! oh and also... mmmmmmm :)

  • Constellations are useless references since each planet, each section of space would have it's own. Constellations aren't scientific, nor uniform from all places in a solar system. At different areas of a solar system, different things are going to be visible or have their light dimmed from there. The idea that you could see a Constellation in another galaxy from surrounding galaxies on all sides is rubbish, unless he was speaking freely from knowledge of the skies of their worlds of origin.

  • @fgmPostApocalypticTV or he was referring to a constellation as a group of stars. It doesn't matter if the constellation looks the same or not, just as long as the same stars are grouped together.

  • @sdcurry2 But stars being grouped together is an optical illusion based upon where you're at in relation to them. Stars appearing to be grouped together, from earth, could be thousands or even tens of thousands of lightyears apart. Orion's belt, for instance, may have a couple of stars invisible from another solar system in this galaxy or any other and may have a star or two grouped with other stars to where those star groupings aren't in the same place in the sky for every planet.

  • @fgmPostApocalypticTV not really. spatial relation is not an optical illusion. You're thinking of a constellation as a sort of 'picture' formed by the way we see the stars. Groupings of stars in 3 dimensional space are also called constellations btw. For instance, our sun and the Alpha Centuri stars are considered a 'star cluster,' in other words, a constellation.

  • @sdcurry2 I'm not splitting hairs 'cause their visibility or apparent invisibility, depending on where you're at in relation to them, is based on so many factors related to space debris, things that get between you & them from certain angles that might not be an issue to other planets or other solar systems, the brightness & rotation of those stars & the relation to other objects that they have in their immediate vicinity to where gravity & other forces are at work with bending their light.

  • @sdcurry2 Any constellation for us could EASILY have 250,000 planets, black holes, brown stars, comets, moons, asteroids, nebulas invisible to earth, & worm holes surrounding each star on all sides, depending on how far it is & how far each star is in relation to each other & in relation to us. Each civilization represented, if the Doctor didn't choose his words SOOOOOOOO CAREFULLY, could have been close to a different 1 of each star in the constellation he referenced & not even understood him.

  • @fgmPostApocalypticTV and yes, referring to a planet in a constellation, no matter your definition, is extremely vague.

  • is it bad that i have this memorized and i said it along with him? ...yeah, it probably is. im SUCH a geek>

  • He's been 900 for a while now.

  • what is that tune @ 0:31 ?

  • @theSpartan187 This is one of those shows that hires their own orchestra and composers, so though you could perhaps get the CD from this particular Series, doubtful you'd know the tune apart from having heard that CD at least once. This is the way tv should be done, instead of taking the lazy way of being free publicity for existing rock bands, as is often the case in US tv & even most US movies. If I ever get to do the tv shows I want to do, orchestra & composers are going to be nonnegotiable!!

  • BOOM pregnant.

  • He's wearing a bow tie! Hah ha!

  • One word: EPIC

  • He just got slammed.

  • bad ass

  • 0:43 I think Kylie just had an orgasm here

  • OHHHHHH! BITCH JUST GOT SEEEEEERVED!!!!!!

  • that gave me goosebumps

  • the Doctor should never ever wear a tux. bad shit just happens

  • @227060 but shit gets real when he does

  • @DragonFire61100 this is true

  • this is my favorite david tennant line. its just so... perfect..

  • DAVID TENNANT .IS . THE. BEST.DOCTOR. EVER!!!!

TUMBS UP IF U AGREE XD

  • Bow ties are cool!!

  • I'm the Doctor. I'm a Time Lord. I'm from the planet Gallifrey. The constellation of Gastabarith. I'm nine hundred and three years old. But I'm the man who's gonna save your lives and all six billion people on the planet below....

You have a problem with that?

    In that case, alons-y!

  • I think Astrid orgasmed from David Tennant's badassery

  • See, I don't think Matt Smith could pull off that kind of authority. He looks too much like a 1940s secretary or underwriter or something and the way he carries himself....well, it just doesn't have that "Like a Boss" flair.

He still has his strong points, though. I like how his mouth can go a mile a minute like it can't keep up with his brain and his hand gestures are fun to watch.

  • B! ...or 2. I say that all the time now.

  • 1. The Tenth Doctor is awesome.

    B. David Tennant is also awesome. And sexy.

III. The man looks damn good in a tux.

[iv]. Doctor Who is the best show in the freaking world.

  • That part always gives me goose bumps in a good way.

  • 0:43 Kylie's orgasm face lol.

  • Like a boss.

  • 4, or D, or that little 'iv' in brackets they use in footnotes! lol!

  • that 11 second sentence from 0:32-0:43 has impregnated over 1,000,000 virgins across the world... that's how awesome David Tennant is.

  • I am in love David again to this Video...He is beautiful.. =) <3And I love his so much.. =)

  • The song playing? It's "The Morning Af..Oops, sorry, I forgot. This is nothing like The Posidon Adventure"

  • Which song is playing in the background?

  • Hey, isn't this The Posiden Adventure?

  • The Doctor: We're going to climb through this ship

Astrid: You mean like in the Poseidon Adven-?

Doctor: No. Nothing like the Poseidon Adventure. Now 2: We're going to reach the bridge.

Astrid: Just like in the P-

    Doctor: No!

    Later...

Doctor: Okay, it really is just like the Poseidon Adventure. RTD must have a thing for 70's disaster movies.

  • The Doctor: We're going to climb through this ship

  • He is wearing a bowtie.

  • @alisaurusrexx Bowties are cool =D

  • So Epicc :D !!!!

  • Davvero fantastico... molto forte come significato e in parte comico! Thanks Doctor!

    Antarta

  • God this bit was awful, along with the Man Who Never Would speech. Watch Eccleston in the "No" speech at the end of Bad Wolf if you want gravitas. This is just... bleurgh. Tennant really got shafted on the writing, shame cause he could have been one of the best. The one time they wrote his character somewhere interesting (the end of The Waters of Mars) they completely forgot about it the next episode :/

  • That guy just shat his pants.

  • nah i dont like really these scenes. Its just too much

  • Lol he sounds like Frank Spencer from some mothers do have 'em when he says "I'm a timelord!"!! Lol :-)

  • Bannakaffalatta's eye roll is hysterical.

  • This is soooo epic. :D

  • Time Lords are the most advanced species in the galaxy, but they are crap at counting.

  • @Bottery not everyone; it's just the Tenth that has this

  • @Bottery i know... the doctor's probably only like 70...

  • @mcridiculose he is over 900 years old....

  • @theSpartan187 see, that was the joke... that he couldn't keep track of his own age? BECAUSE HE CAN'T COUNT??

  • @Bottery no keeping track of bullet points...not counting

  • THIS is THE Doctor Who

  • As Im A Cop--I Faithfully watch with me kiddos- I wish it was that EZ MR Tennant is one cool Mutha -----DUDE

  • @drwhocenter2011 there was more that one series with tenant he was with Rose ( series 2) with Mather ( series 3 and I can't spell her name) and Donna ( series 4) so all I have got to say is alonsy (not to tenant of course he was brill I just felt like saying it)

  • i'm the doctor *explosion*

    i'm a time lord *explosion* :P

  • To put it briefly... I'm awesome. You got a problem with that?

    ...No...

    In that case... ALLONS-Y!

  • Intense David Tennant makes me feel all Wibbly-Wobbly

  • if you tube had a repeat button, i would have broken it alredy waching this clip over and over

  • @bigcaper862 it DOES have a repeat button...

  • I love Matt Smith and I love series 5. But I honestly wish we could of had one more series with David and just think about it. There would be so many amazing stories with David and Moffat being the lead writer! :D

  • I want him back.

I mean let's face it... Matt smith is great.. but David Tennant, He is Phenominal.

  • @CrazyLilGirl123 2012 is going to bring a multi-Doctor episode with David Tennant, Matt Smith, and some of the other Doctors, though it hasn't been announced yet which ones they will be.

  • does everyone get a chill when he says that...

  • BEST LINE EVER!!!!!!!!!!

  • I like how he's like, "I'm a Time Lord" and then something in the background blows up.

  • Best introduction ever. I mean, how the hell can you argue after hearing that?

  • "B! ...No.... TWO!"

    XDD Love himmm

  • GOD,I love this scene!

  • What was the fourth step in his plan? 0:15 I can't figure out what he said after he got done running through all the possible numbering choices.

  • @emergencyCALL911 "Why" I think. possibly he means he's going to figure out what happened

  • Love the expressions on their faces - the women are all saying "God Damn!" and the guys are all saying "Oh ok - well I'm not arguing with that!"

....think maybe some of the guys are thinking "God Damn!" too!! :-D

    That scene is sooo sexy!

  • Can I hear a stadium crowd applause for DTen??

"You got a problem with that?" Goooo Doctor!

  • haha

david tennant is nice and good actor, so "alonsì"?

    haha

and her dream is can say:

    alonso alonsì

    haha :) cool

  • :P :)

  • i looooooooooooooved this christmas special wish it had been longer it was so good.

  • Haha, totally epic the way that thing explodes when he says "I'm a time lord" and his number confusion is adorable! Long live ten!

  • I find the answer! sorry that I write unnecessarily :D

  • I don't speak english well. But, I like to know, what is the song title, or artis! Thanks the answer!

  • @Timicamica Martha's theme

  • @pifibbi Thanks!!!!!!!!!!!! :D:D:D:D:D:D

  • OMG!!! That's my favourite part too!! The whole thing with the 1-b-d-iv is TYPICAL Ten getting all carried away in his excitement!!! How utterly adorable!! Plus, his dedication to humankind is nothing short of admirable!! Loove loove loove Ten!!

  • This is my favorite David Tennant Quote!!

  • 0:33 - 0:55 -> Now, see, why didn't he do that all the time? Whenever something was going wrong and people demanded to know who he was he'd just say "I'm the Doctor" (and/or "I'm clever"), and they would still bitch about why they should follow him. Mention that you're a 900+ years old Time Lord from Gallifrey who is the only being capable of saving these snivelling ingrates' lives, and that shuts them right up ^_^

  • It's weird to see Gray O Brien (Tony) from Coronation Street in Doctor Who and not as Tony

  • @lan718

The Music called "the voyage of damned Suite"

  • Thats the beste scene with no fun!

  • random fact but there is a french magazine called Allons-y, there's copies of it int he french head of department's room in my school!!!

  • wats the music at 0.31

  • this scene is the best

  • @GreyDeyason All of the doctors have their differences. And matt's doctor is the doctor that is getting older and a bit slower. He isn't as daring a tennant but he has different qualities that I like.

  • Oh god!!! The Doctor speaks French!!

  • Im so gald Matt Smith didn't take or use allons-y, because if he did it would be like taking some thing that doesn't belong to him.

  • ALLONS-Y!

  • EPIC AS HELL!!!!

  • see Tenant can pull it off...the new guy, whats his face is just a spac with a bow-tie

  • The sparks going off in the background make me laugh.

  • Well, shit. Now I'm pregnant. >.>

    Thanks A LOT, David Tennant.

  • @TheMidnightx10 LMAO!!!!!!

  • @TheMidnightx10 Keep that child. For the love of the progression of the Time lords, KEEP THAT BABBY

  • @TheMidnightx10 O.o....thats some weird timey whimey wibble wobbly stuff! o.O...<_<..o.o;

  • Alright, when he starts introducing himself, there is great music in the back ground. I have been breaking my back trying to find the name of it. Can somebody tell me the title of it?

  • I makes me have a cuteness attack! OMG!

  • luv kylie

  • Matt Smith is getting there. For starters, he does better understated than Tennant. He sells comedy better than Tennant. BUT...he's just not as....heroic....as Tennant. Yet. Lovethem both, but Smith is definately winning me over, definately. Check out Vampires Of Venice - some of the Doctor's funniest lines (and deliveries) ever! I keep spelling definately wrong, I know.

  • @2bitvillain Ah, but in the Eleventh Hour,

    ~SPOILER ALERT~

    ~SPOILER ALERT~

    ~SPOILER ALERT~

    ~SPOILER ALERT~

when he was on the roof with the Atraxi, he was epically a hero.

    ~SPOILER ALERT~

    ~SPOILER ALERT~

    ~SPOILER ALERT~

    ~SPOILER ALERT~

  • @Joshua5003 yeah but there hasnt been much heroic-ness like tennant and he seems to not be confident and not know what he's doing half the time... i mean matt's doctor has flashes of greatness with his voice and how he says things, gives the audience a sense of emotion but this doctor who series isnt light hearted and when it tries to be its not that funny :(

  • That scene is always epic :D

  • I have a clip of this with out the music! I also made a rescore of this using music from the Eleventh Hour.

  • I'm the doctor. I'm a time-lord. I'm from the planet Gallifrey, the constellation of Casterborous, I'm 903 years old I'm the man whose going to save your lives and all 6 billion people on the planet below. You have a problem with that? (No.) In that case, allons-y!

  • More cheesy over-acting by Tennant...

  • @togalogs dude, that scene is epic....

  • matt smith would never dare touch this league of superiority of the tennant.

  • He'll always be THEE Doctor in my eyes.....

  • i thought the "brilliant, take me to your leader" was the best scene

  • ALLONS-Y!

  • this was the best scene ever

  • most epic quote ever from dr.who XD

  • I love how each special they would reintroduce the Doctor and make it enjoyable for fans and non-fans alike. When the series started back up in 2005, I knew absolutely nothing about Doctor Who, and now I am a die hard fan. I've watched so many of the old episodes and specials. Thanks for inviting other people like me to be a part of this community and not be so bogged down in the history that it's impossible for others to enjoy the series.

  • Uh, I loved this part as much as anybody, but lets cool this comparing a fictional tv character to the Real Deal.

  • @psxwarrior Spoil sport xD Besides, who's to say which one's the "Real Deal", eh?

  • I thought of Christ when he levitates ("Last of the Time Lords") and embraces The Master and then he forgives him. Also another Christ moment when he flies with the Hosts.

  • Touche! :D

  • A phrase of great consolaltion in dark times: ALLONS-Y!

  • LoL tony gordan from corrienation street haha im suprised he backed down from the doctor then hahahaa thaught he would get revenge on him

  • @mufcgazza2k7 That's the strangest way of spelling Coronation Street I have ever seen.

  • True but theres no doubting that Torchwood has delivered in it's own right.

In fact in my opinion Children of Earth was better than any of the 2008-2010 DW specials so far.

  • My Favourite part of this episode is when he meets Alonso.

    "Whats Your Name?"

    "Alonso"

    "Your Kidding..."

    "No.."

    "Well Allons-y Alonso"

    :)

Make me laugh because if you remember when he firsts starts using Allons-y, he says would it be great if you met someone called Alonso then you'd be able to say "allons-y Alonso"

    :D

  • Oh sorry I meant Alonzo, with a z :)

  • Comment removed

  • That is just a what moment. It is stunning and just nothing can top that.

  • 903 years old? In Time and the Rani he was 953 years old? I suppose fibbing about your age goes as far as Gallifrey. My conclusion is he's too old and has too much on his mind to remember his exact age.

  • Nah, in my opinion there's no point in keeping completly consistent because when he travels through time and all that good stuff he's a different age every time he goes to.

  • I think it is funny when the Doctor in this episode says something like, "I'm still unsinkable."

  • My # 1 doctor who clip! He is so sexy in this scene. :)

  • Fuck yeah! Gave me the chills when I first saw it, especially those sparks bursting behind him like he was god or something....awesome.

  • @grumpytosnowwhite Well, time lords are the closest thing to gods you get. :)

  • @grumpytosnowwhite he is a god. he's the god of time.
