You might as well argue vampires vs werewolves. Slow zombies and fast zombies both make for their own type of movie, and both have their place. Slow zombies are for suspenseful movies, and fast ones are for thrill a minute movies. Both have the sense of apocalypse, and I'd be disappointed if either type stopped being made. As for not calling the infected zombies because they aren't dead, too fussy. Technically, you shouldn't call slow ones zombies because 'zombies' don't eat flesh (voodoo).

I've come to a conclusion regarding the fast zombie slow zombie debate. Zombies as we all know are a representation of humanity that we have grown to hate, Slow zombies came from a time of a bleak future (cold war), where everyone was muddling around in life. with littlehope (Slow) But the society we now hate has become a desperate hassle for more and more things physical wealth, status, the such. We rush around and rush around just to end the same way one and all. Both zombies are acceptable.

Then, because it was so popular and the movie was a bigger hit than they expected, it was a no-brainer to put it in the second one. NOW GO WATCH 28 DAYS LATER FOOL!

I Personally loved the sequel 28 Weeks Later, I loved how it had lots of action, tense scenes and the father/kids were great actors, especially for the kids, so young yet so talented as actors, the first 5 minutes of 28 Weeks almost gave me a heart attack... my step sister actually thought about leaving the theater because of how intense it started... =) to each their own, but I Loved it, almost more then 28 Days Later...

I have been writing movies and filming and lately I have noticed influences from 28 Days Later in my work. That movies is such a masterpiece.
