LOVE THIS VIDEO , DUDE YOU HAVE SO MUCH PASSION FOR MY COUNTRY , I LOVE IT!! LOVE THE WAY YOU TASTE THE GOOD OF IT... WANT TO VISIT PUNTAMONA, SOON...YOU MAKE ME LAUGH ... GREAT JOB , THANKS FOR MAKING A DIFFERENCE, THAT'S REAL LIFE...
So... how's your Spanish by now? Or do they speak a patois there? It's hard to tell from the video, seems like Spanglish with some Caribe slang mixed in.
I don't understand the comment: "We drink coffee every day but don't knwo where it comes from." Ask most anyone in a US coffee house and they know exactly where coffee comes from... Also: sounds like Jamaican reggae, Brasilian music, Colombian cumbia. Looks like great project man!
Punta Mona is a life altering experience. I have been taking my college students for about 10 years. Re: the coffee question: Some of what coffee houses sell as colombian, kona, etc... is actually from Mexico. That is not necessarily bad coffee, but not accurately identified. some of Mexican coffee is very good. However, Café de Costa Rica es el mejor.
Hola, Thanks for clarifying. I can see that in the big world of wholesale coffee auctions(Hills Bros, Starbux, etc.) that they mix beans in order to maintain their categories. So great to see a cool immigrant to Costa Rica. Your love shows in your work.
awesome video, been looking for the full length show carried on the Travel Channel but I can't find it. Really an inspiration, I just traveled to Costa Rica after watching this, mostly because I saw your program. Punta Mona seems like an amazing place. Really given me a greater interest in permaculture
