Because: They have a ten to fifteen minutes ad and trailer break, somewhere at 0145pm; They air vanity and frivolous stories, which are nothing but press releases of big corporations; Their approach is quite sensationalist, so the time they devote to each story can be considered long by international journalism standards; and, at last, the portuguese public broadcasting corporation RTP only cares about ad revenues and ratings, not about quality.
