( cause i am also currently trying to make a little zombiemovie with a few friends , and we have less equip and budget than you)

For my role i have to grew myself a short beard ( you know, realism and so on, zombieapocalypsesurvivor---no shaving tools, no time for things like that etc....).

I just takes a few days, perhaps 2 weeks for a gordon-styled moustache.

This is an awesome attempt and it definitely deserves respect, but this should be a lesson to all people who try and take on characters that have already been portrayed. DO YOUR OWN take on the character. Imitation only leads to ridicule, because you are not that actor and never will do the character like they did. Come up with your own voice and movements.

This sucks. First of all, you need better material to act from, i.e. the writing sucks. No one talks like that nor is it interesting to listen to. You put too much attion into the detail of the voice and not the characters them selves. The appear emotionless wich I find disturbing since half of the characters ar yelling half the time. Character interaction is chopy at best. If you want to write better read more, for better acting pay more attention to everyday life and how people act.
