  • today kill the last one :(

  • The amount of seconds of this video is exactly how many Javan Rhinos are left in the Wild

  • Beautiful and rare animals is sad to think that our sons might not see them alive

  • Every time I saw this animal, it really brought me almost to tears. This animal is one of the rarest living creatures in the world. Born in Indonesia, I have never even had the chance to see this, not even in the zoo. I hope this lovely creature which numbers less than 50 in the wild will survive. I hope the Indonesian government and the world will do their best to protect this gentle peaceful lonely animals from extinction.

  • Thanks for this.

  • is the Vietnamese subspecies going to die?

  • @jurabelle We need to help save them.

  • Shiz man thats cool,Its doing a good jod floating!!! and swimming

  • As always WWF forgot to mention that this footage was taken by Alain Compost

  • wow, it's swimming.

  • I like the way this was linked to JavansGameShow lol

  • These rhinos are far from safe. All rhino species are under threat. The Javan is the rarest with 2 subspecies:

Rhinoceros Sondaicus Sondaicus - Ujong Kulong, Indonesia +/- 50 left

Rhinoceros Sondaicus Annamiticus - Cat Tien, Vietnam +/- 5 left

The Vietnamese rhino IS EASILY he most endangered animal alive today!

29 April 2010 one of these animals was shot and robbed of its horn, now it's +/- 4 remaining animals. Help Anna is the only org online concerned with the Vietnamese rhino(s).

  • my name is javan

  • Guys I'll give you alittle backround on the conservation of these rhinos. Way back in 1967 a small population of 25 was put in the Ujung Kulon National park and now look it has doubled. Scientists also say that this rhino isn't the most endangered rhino the sumatran rhino is because the population of the Sumatran rhinos is declining while the javan rhino population is stable. Well stableish.

  • Their so cute, too!

  • I heard that there is a project to increase these rhinos to 70 indivisuals and than restore many to different places!

  • there's under 50 of these left

  • Why do people kill such amazing creatures

  • Why would I take an insult from someone who can not even use correct grammar and spelling?

  • @sgtbanks123

Why would anyone actually give a shit about grammar and spelling when these rhinos are barely surviving?

  • This is a Critically Endangered species which means they will become extint soon if we dont help them.

  • cool

  • are they the smallest of the asian rhinos?

  • yes they are, about 4-5 feet tall at best.

  • I still have hope in the Javan Rhinos.

  • ahaha looks like a hippo

  • I`m affraid it is too late for the javan rhino but miracles do happend

  • There once was less than 5o wisents, and they survived to see this day. :)

  • Along with the Sumatran, the Javan is among the rarest animals in Asia. Hopefully it won't suffer the same fate as the Javan Tiger and the Thylacine.

  • "In the World" about 60 survive

  • 48 to be more precise

  • How interesting, they have a strange look in their eyes, and their factions are different too from the indian and others. They're funny looking.

  • I hope we can save the javan rhinoceros(rhinoceros sondaicus)=-(
