See, you seem perfectly aware here that "democracy" is not democratic at all: the vast majority of government policies are not passed at the behest of the public. Yet in other videos, you blame the public for voting for these things. We don't!
Dude, what the fuck? Watching these videos after the fact is the best, it's like watching Network, or hearing Bill Hicks tell a Bush joke. I gotta get in on this history-psychology-philosophy trinity of truth thing.
I think the guy who makes these videos should provide some real practical ways in which we might resist state terror. For instance should we pay parking fines? How can we not pay?
If state agencies pursue an individual to seize money for whatever excuse they use, what can an individual do?
Well the point is we don't really need to anything. The system is going to collapse onto itself. The most important thing we can do is learn more and more and educate and spread the word. This way when the system collapses society doesn't go along with it. This way we can make our point when they begin to meet and discuss what to do. People wont know what to do without a state.
I am okay with anarchism, but a little skeptical of economics 'is a science rhetoric', meaning free markets are self regulating and everything would be okay. I see economics as a pseudo science, with built in ideologies which attempt to justify some faction. None of it is actually prove-able. Yes government intervention in all forms is bad, and without government it is easy to see that another sub group, private or not would dominate. Monarchy would be better.
@romm95 You were like me, I learned Keynesian astrology in college. Then I did some investigation and stumbled upon the Austrian theories. Yes their ideas have never been fully implemented, but understanding their concepts will help you predict current economic events far better than the Keynesians do.
It seems to me that some of you think the congress of the United States possesses some sort of higher moral authority than the executive branch. Do you really believe that congress is any less corrupt than the executive branch? The single most important point you are missing is this one: All political representatives in our system are corrupt because they do not possess any moral authority to extort money or resources from their fellow citizens. Government is a charade, nothing more.
Derfy, I think you missed what I was saying. Regardless of whether the congress is evil or not, or regardless of public opinion, congress wouldn't pass a bill handing out money without control over where the money goes. It would be silly to hand out money without controlling where it goes....
What are you talking about? They just DID? They handed over these hundreds of billions to Paulson so he can give it to foreign banks, his friends on the Street, and whoever else tickles his fancy. I'm sure he has a long Christmas list.
Congress did NOTHING but LIE DOWN and ROLL OVER like they were told!
Public opinion does have to factor in somewhat to their decision. I mean if the bill was to pay for all new vacation homes for everyone in congress, I think it would be hard for them to pass it w/o any backlash from their constituents.
I think it's possible that they're a little freaked out by the unpopularity of this bill.
It just means that they haven't propagandized the masses well enough yet. I give it a less than a month and the media will have the people clamoring for it to be passed.
well that makes sense. im suprised at how gullible i can be. totally bought in to the claim that the people have a voice. if this bill passes, i will completely solidify my views with respect to a stateless society
I'm not sure I follow this argument so much. It seems to me that any bill where congress is giving out money, they should have control over where the money goes. I think that is even what most of the public wants. Nobody in the general population wants the government to give 700 billion away with no restrictions and oversight.
I want to make it clear that I am completely against he government meddling with the economy, and I am completely against this bill ( of course). But, if the bill has to be passed, and will be, congress should have more control over who manages the money.
I understand and sympathize with your confusion my friend. What you need to understand is that while congress may have a constitutional right to control where the money goes, this does not mean that they have a moral right to do so. The constitution of the United States was created by a small group of privileged white males. This does not mean it has any magical moral authority. This is the 21st century my friend, try to rethink everything you have been taught.
true, but the State claims authority because people vote and this is supposed to represent 'the general will' a bullshit claim of course, but that is what they use.
Another similar bill is scheduled to be voted on by the senate today, I'm guessing they've already sorted out whose going to get a piece out of those juicy $700bil. Either in the short run or the long run the American economy is still doomed to a recession and possibly a depression.
See, you seem perfectly aware here that "democracy" is not democratic at all: the vast majority of government policies are not passed at the behest of the public. Yet in other videos, you blame the public for voting for these things. We don't!

in fact there is no EASY way, but there is - for US/CA citizens you may search for:
Mary Elizabeth Croft - how I clobbered every bureaucratic cash-confiscatory agency known to man.
Hard stuff sometimes, but well worth to give it a shot.
