I live nearly 200 yards from a good size lake in NH & rarely transport my sleds unless I'm going to Canada. I'll never load or unload my sleds without wearing my helmet & I always transport sleds within an enclosed trailer. In 1997, I watched a guy loading a sled into a pickup truck go over the handlebars & partially through the back windshield. He lost some teeth, severed his throat & was lucky people were there to get help.

Or the dude is just stupid, anyway get a real "extended" ramp, really pointless to have such a steep incline with a basic ramp as the one in the vid with a deck on a lifted truck.

@huntingrules1231 haha, I actually keep my helmet in my truck when I take my quad out, I hardly ever wear it except for loading and unloading. I also have a bi boy toy (f150 on 37s) and refused to pay almost 300 bucks for a set of ramps long enough, so I just made some out of 2x12s. They ain't the safest, but I've never had a mishap but I wear my helmet anyway when I'm loading or unloading cuz that wood gets real slick if its wet and I have had a few puckering up moments
