I somewhat agree with that actually. In answer to you & below, yes it isKNex. I have to tell you, the instructions do NOT produce a working coaster though! You have to do a LOT with the slope and structure (for speed and stability), literally grease the tube track and other things to get it to function. Out of box, it simply doesn't work or didn't for us. So I considered it "home made"...we did make it at home! :0 Anyways...thanks for the view and the comment. Both are always appreciated.

Our kitty cats are gone now.....my youngest son developed an allergy to them so they had to go to a different home. The coaster got real lonely after that....and me. :(

Yeah, we took a LONG time to do it too but there were 4 of us working on it, so we had it done in a day (an angry, stepping on each other, HATEFUL day! *grin*).

It's a set from a product called K'Nex. They give you the building material and then you can follow their instructions, or just put together whatever YOU think works best! You can also buy several boxes of the stuff and then just start building any kind of MASSIVE, gravity-defying coaster you want! I HIGHLY recommend it for anyone with oodles of time on their hands. LOL.

We got it on Clearance (literally $3 after the XMAS season last year and I'm NOT kidding), but had to drive to a location an hour away because the stores don't carry them any more. Amazon does...and they start at $50 and go up with increased complexity...like up to $300 for the University edition. I advise buying some small sets and connecting them rather than buy a huge one for mega $.

Thanks! I took that video with my camera! LOL!! Hence the poor quality...but I don't think you can really make a quality video with a K'nex coaster as the subject. Heee! Just made a different one and posted a video of that too (made with a REAL camcorder). Looking forward to seeing your massive version!
