after testing out what people on here said (I just did this literally a minute ago), yes, being on raw, gettiing dq'ed against taker and khali, then standing up to her WORKS. I'm booked in a hell in a cell match vs taker at no way out to defend my title. try it out guys, it's working for me

You can't on this one, bcause it's only featuring ECW. It bummed me out because I wanted to be CM Punk, and on 08 he's on ecw.

In 09 it's with ECW, so you should be able to.

Best story mode ever was Raw 2 for xbox.

You could be the undisputed champ instead of having to choose a belt and leave your brand.

This is a glitch with the messages. When u delete them the message it belives tht u choose the 1st option which was 2 strip of the title.

The solution is DON'T delete the message after u have chosen ur option OK try out

Heres how I unlocked Vince for all the people who are complaining about loosing the title:

Start gm 24/7 as RAW/Smackdown. Draft a new roster and give both superstars 1 year contract. After you start the season turn off injuries (Optional) and turn of morale. Add 1 more year onto there contract and skip all the way down to wrestlemania 23. There will be 1 match slot available for you. choose a championship and then a match. Simulate the match, save GM Mode and go onto the shop.

Damn,there is a good strategy right there,but I just did Mg mode and try to win everything by turn off injuries and wining matches after matches after matches and that´s it so I guess I can try your strategy ´cause the way I usually worked it takes me too long for me,thanks I will follow your heads up.

You can avoid that bug. After you ansrew to the message, you MUST NOT delete that message, or it will automatically choose the top choice.

I'm using the ps2 version with Shawn Michaels it takes the title automatically after No Way Out(which i am not a part of) and the messages are 2 from Shane, and 1 from booker T, haven't even gotten to Stephanie the past couple times...help?

You do know that you get messages at mondays, thursdays, and fridays. There is a possiblility that you accidently skip a message, hence you losing the title.

guys the game is full of bugs!There are plenty other problems,except the title stripping situation.For example,you get a title shot for the wwe championship and you cant compete for the title!The game will just continue the season without giving you the opportunity to fight for the title!In some other cases it will just ignore your decisions!

Its totally bugged really. I managed to sim a few more years and get a title shot at no mercy against taker in a hiac, won it and then went on to retain at wrestlemania but mcmahon is still locked :S

No, you have to win or retain in GM mode, not superstar mode. Took me a while to figure that out.

@azz0rwugg This happens to me all the time! one time i tried to say yes i'll keep defending my title and then i didnt delete it...but then a couple days later i was stripped of my title anyway! but i didn't unlock Mr. Mcmahon from story mode or gm mode.... i unlocked him by beating all the challenges in hall of fame mode.
