They started a root canal on my 10 yr old then told me to take her to someone who finishes them well guess wat no one i called finish root canals that someone else started snd its not usualy done on kids under 12
I been in the Dental field since 2001 and parents always blame Doctors or there own children for the cavitys they get. Parents need to take responsibilty for there child dental care, kids would never have to be put in that situation if the parents took care of there child teeth. Brushing, flossing, drinking water everyday, no parents give milk to kids to put them asleep, juice to kids to stop them crying, parents need to take control of there child oral hygiene, instead of waiting for the pain.

If you ask any pediatric dentist they will tell you most kids will be strapped down so you may work on them. However, to do four to six root canals on a little kid is terrible. Pulling adult teeth is also a dispicabale act.
so most children of low income parents are unstable?
i am autistic, and i went to the dentist once to have some teeth removed
they never strapped me down, or asked my parents to leave the room, and they got the job done
if u work in a dental enviromnent or u ARE a pediatric dentist, and you just automatically strap ur patients down to save time then your patients won't be any more inclined to cooperate the next time, i can promise u that even without a degree
I see all kinds of people. I have been a dentist now for three years and I can tell you that ninety percent is a ridiculous number. I think six out of ten meaning most are cooperative. I dont tie down kids because they cry, but when a kid tries to bit your finger or cusses out his parents and strikes them bc no parenting is going on. You have to restrain them then. I also refer children who i dont feel safe working on. I have proof too I work daily as a dentist.
Again I dont strap kids down unless it is the last resort. I don't ask parents to leave. It is easy to criticize a professional without knowing anything about the profession. You don't have to have a degree to know that it is human nature. Everyone has an opinion until you go to school and see why things are done.
YEs< i totally agree, i am an EFDA at a pedo office and when safely used the boards work well, if people were in the room with us, well then they would understand why they are needed, it doesnt make me happy 2 do it but for the childs safety and my own it works well

I remember being held down in the hospital to be put under general anesthesia. I am 21 years old and I still cry hysterically and freak out before an operation. You are going to scar these children for life. How dare you hold children down like this. SMALL SMILES...YOU ARE IGNORANT ASSHOLES!
Anyone who is familar with the street scene of any big city, knows that many dentists are perverts.
