  • @oursillylife1 I think all purpose flour is just regular white flour (plain flour). At least plain flour has worked for me in every recipe calling for "all purpose flour". They still turn out insanly and out of this world delicious. (Anyone is free to correct me if i'm wrong) :)

  • If u can't find molasses: Replace one cup of molasses with one of the following:

    1 cup dark corn syrup, honey or maple syrup

    3/4 cup firmly packed brown sugar

    3/4 cup granulated sugar, plus 1/4 cup water

    Note: These substitutions may alter the taste of your recipe a bit. If the molasses flavor is vital to the success of your recipe, try the brown sugar substitute. Since brown sugar is made from granulated sugar and molasses, it'll be the closest flavor match.

  • LAURA! Have you ever been to Max Brenner's? They have this amazingly thick Italian hot chocolate. It's DELICIOUS. Would you be able to recreate a similar recipe? I recently moved to TX and the nearest Max Brenner's is hundreds of miles away. Now that it's winter I'm dying for a good hot chocolate. The hot chocolate packages from stores are so watery and bland in comparison. Please do a video on hot chocolate if you have the time.

  • @syllirabbit I LOVE MAX BRENNERS!! here is a EXCELLENT recipie I use:Max Brenner's White Hot Chocolate - Vanilla Cream: 2 tablespns cornstarch,2 1/2 cup milk,1/2 cup(s) sugar

    2 large egg yolks ,1 vanilla bean, split lengthwise, or 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

    Hot Chocolate:1 cup(s) milk,7oz white chocolate roughly chopped

  • Vanilla cream:Add cornstarch to1/2 cup of the milk in a bowl and whisk to dissolve.mix in Sugar and Egg.Bring remaining 2 cups milk and vanilla bean just to a simmer in a heavy-bottomed medium saucepan over low heat. Remove the bean, scrape the vanilla seeds into the milk,discard bean.slowly add egg mixture into milk.Cook,mixing often,until sauce comes to a full boil. If using vanilla extract,stir it in now. Strain through a wire sieve into a bowl.Hot chocolate: Boil cup milk,add chopped

  • @cherrytothecake brown sugar. brown sugar basically is just sugar with molasses added onto it.

  • what is molasses? i have no idea and I dont think we have here in Singapore. :(

  • @azielafeb3 , I doubt that, but molasses is a dark thick like consistency, it has iron calcium and potasium. the ingredients is only 2 things, unsulphured and blackstrap. not much to explain there. But hop I helped! =)

    Het zal inderdaad de extra smaak er aan brengen maar smaken verschillen.

    Je zou ook suiker stroop kunnen gebruiken, of nog beter bruine suiker zoals een tip gever het al aan gaf.

  • @GoliathAngelus Ja volgensmij zit bij bruine suiker de melasse er nog gewoon bij, dus dat zal wel ongeveer de zelfde smaak geven ja :)

    Van Gilse stroop bijvoorbeeld .

    Ik weet alleen niet of de schenkstroop goed genoeg is maar het zou een goede vervanger kunnen zijn.

    Je kan ook bruine suiker gebruiken,zo schijnt het.

  • @GoliathAngelus: Waarschijnlijk zou je het wel in een natuurwinkel kunnen vinden. Maar ikzelf stap zo'n winkel niet zo snel in ;)

    Het zou wel gewoon te verkrijgen zijn, is het een restproduct wat overblijft wanneer suiker wordt gemaakt. Ik geloof niet dat het heel erg zoet is, dus vervangen door honing of stroop zal toch een andere smaak geven.

    Misschien moet ik toch een keer de stap zetten een natuurwinkel in te gaan ;)

  • @Yellkje Ik stap een natuurwinkel ook niet zo gauw binnen maar dat is alleen maar omdat ik er meestal geen erg in heb dat die er ook zijn.

    Ik vind die winkels juist wel leuk en meestal kan je daar apparte spullen vinden.

    Misschien slaag je daar wel en anders zou je het bij een kook winkel kunnen proberen.

    Aan je recepten houden is leuk maar soms moet je improviseren.

    Dat vind ik juist leuk.

  • @avineshwadhwa i agree with you,We live in a world that we can say almost everything to each (some part of the world we can) other that comes up in out mind but it doesn t mean that we have to or must everything.

    Why can t people just be polite and keep some words for your self , skip the video or channal if you don t like it.
