I have a question regarding mixing loopers with the POD XT. I'm assuming I would put the POD in line first then the looper. My question is ... can the looper handle the signal coming for the POD.? I'm worried there may be distortion from too much gain coming from the POD.

After you record your base, how many overdubs can you create over that baseline? I know you can make one then delete it if you dont like it but, after your baseline, you record an overdub, can you record another overdub over the first overdub and so on?

@materialsin It works good for and sound at all. I got 5 2gig chips. One for each type of thing I use it for. Full songs can be recorded on any input right off the headphone output and then put on an ipod or parts to practice to. I got some riffs to practice. I got sound effects people cheering dogs barking I Drag and drop sounds to my videos I make. I don't think there is a limit to how many tracks can be added. You can record anything.

JamMan vs RC-20XL.

The JamMan has a lot of options and memory (6.5 hours of audio with a 2GB card) but bad loop timing. The RC-20XL has only 16 minutes of recording time but better loop quantize function and better overdubbing...which are the most important features for a looper. So I think that 16 minutes of good loops with the RC-20XL are much better than 6,5 hours of bad loops with the JamMan.
