This car is very beguiling. The overall effect is "entertaining" without it being what could be called good design. The French have a taste for the decorative in their cars, and in my view, "decor" has no place on a machine. And the car is definitely designed for women: it's a chick car right out of the box. which pisses me off, but that's another story. That said, I would like to own one I think (maybe this is proof I'm a lesbian after all). LUV THE SOUNDTRACK!! What's the music???
The way this car has been advertised is that it is anti retro! How is that so? When was the last time anyone made a car with a different coloured roof? If thats not retro then what is?There are many features on the car that are taken from retro cars. It is a lovely car but needs to be re-labled as taking the best of old and new and combining it.

Does not look remotely as if it could be of the same "family" as a DS21 or DS23. They were GREAT cars. This thing looks more like a modern SUV or imitation of the mini minor. --- This is proof that Citroen have truly lost their way and been stumbling around, lost in the wilderness, for a long long time!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Doesn't make it right; it is still just as wrong & they are still just as lost. If they had any intention of forgetting past glories, they would not have revived the DS name, but developed a new entity, as it were, rather than attempt to link to the past with a totally different concept in a car.
it doesn't look like the DS, but is named after the DS. this is all the point of the car: bring back the memories of the original DS while totally innovating in the looks.

the name was taken to show the glory of citroen back in the days, and the only link between this car and the original DS is it's name.
